Opening and closing of Bung fittings is easiest with standard drum fitting tools (available separately) such as ASIN B00LBGPMMI as sold by Polyfarm. Review: great product - This will work great for us when we travel in our RV for back up water supply when dry camping. they are a little pricey compared to the other sizes for some reason but I could not fit a larger one in where these go so they will work fine.
