This kettle is efficient, holds a gallon of water and as long as you use Reverse Osmosis water cleaning is a breeze. If not every six months soak in vinegar and rinse. The kettle looks nice and not too bulky. We put it on a sliding coaster so we can pull it forward if needed and the cord is plenty long for that. All in all I can't see us without one now. Great price and great quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perhaps my most used kitchen appliance, third one I've bought *by M***N on April 6, 2024* I have loved everything I've bought from Zojirushi. They make quality products, especially their water boilers/warmers and their rice cookers. Our first one lasted about 10 years with very heavy use. We've had our second for about 5 years. When I got a job that required me to live apart from my wife for a time, one of the first things we bought for my apartment in the other city was another Zojirushi water boiler. It is not as convenient as having a more expensive water boiler/cooler that connects to your plumbing, but in our kitchen that wasn't practical and would be a lot more expensive and in my apartment away from home, it isn't an option. This fits nicely and looks nice on a countertop without taking a lot of room. It would also be perfect for an office. I usually use it to make tea and pour-over coffee. Because I usually just use an aeropress to make coffee (and my wife prefers instant coffee for convenient--I love her but she's not perfect), I don't have a separate coffee make on the counter. It holds 3 liters, so depending how many people are using it to make tea/coffee and how much they drink, I find that we have to add water about every two days. By myself in my apartment, and in the office full time during the day, I have to refill it about once a week, sometimes twice. Cleaning is easy. You can buy zojirushi cleaning packs, but they are just citric acid power. You can buy it cheaper in bulk. I usually just get the zojirushi cleaning backs though for convenient. You pour in the powder, water, and push the cleaning button.
