My son was born into a family where male pattern baldness is a factor on both sides, and he himself had a high forehead and fine hair even as a small child. At 19, he wanted to be proactive about it and so I got him this product for his birthday, with the opinion that it seems to be a safe product. So we have made it a tradition that every year on his birthday, he gets a new bottle. (He uses it sparingly, on the most vulnerable areas of his scalp, along with a traditional shampoo). He just turned 35, and he is not bald. Other men in the family were bald by that age. Does he have a full head of hair? No, he is receding slightly.
