Long review. Some good, some bad. 3.5 stars
Okay I don't write many reviews but I have a lot to say about this foosball table. We wanted a new foosball table for the basement rec room of our newly built home for our adult kids and grandkids to use when visiting. We shopped long and hard and read tons of reviews, as this is our first foosball table purchase. I played a fair amount when young, using commercial tables in bars and pool halls, so that is my reference point for comparison. I knew this wouldn't live up to that, it just doesn't cost that much compared to high-end tables, but we didn't want to spend thousands, and so we settled on this as the best "bang for the buck."FEATURES: The biggest disappointment for me is that the players ARE NOT counterbalanced. The very first "feature" listed by the seller is "Weighted players for easy rotation to defense position." This is true. My mistake was that I read that as the players are counterbalanced- just didn't process what I was reading. The players are WEIGHTED, in the legs, making them rotate DOWN to the standing position when you release the rod. On a commercial table, the players are COUNTERBALANCED, meaning you can leave your offense (forward) players in a level or horizontal position when you move to your defensive (goal) players. That allows you to play offense from your own goal, and possibly score from your backfield. But these players will rotate down, blocking your path to the opponent's goal. The higher-end tables will list counterbalanced players as a feature. I SPECIFICALLY searched for tables with counterbalanced players, and thought this table had that, so I was very disappointed to find it isn't true. My fault for not reading more carefully. That shouldn't bother most casual players, and it's still a fun table to play, so not the end of the world, but if that's a deal-breaker for you I wouldn't recommend this table.Another big disappoint for me is the inability to play with only one goalie. That's how the commercial tables I played are set up, and some of the higher-end tables offered on Amazon can be set up either as one or three goalies, but not this table. If you leave out the outer goalies, the rod will come out of the far hole. You could put a bolt through the holes used by the outer goalies, but then your single goalie wouldn't be able to reach the corners and there are no corner ramps to keep the ball in play. The rods and players are lightweight. You don't get that "heavy, solid" feeling playing it.The size is good. At 6'4" I wanted a tall table, and a large playing surface. This is a larger table, so good there. I also like the looks of this table, it looks really nice and professional. Some of the others we considered looked clunky or old-fashioned, and this really hits it on style. Plus it coordinates with our pop-a-shot.ASSEMBLY: Yes, it is made from very fine particle board, and they include fine-thread screws. So they WILL strip out very easily. Be careful. I used an impact driver, but I know how to take it easy and I still stripped a couple. There are enough fasteners that it won't matter if a couple are stripped, but "snug" is what you're after here. And get out your 6" Phillips driver tip and your #4 metric hex driver tip. As far as some reviewers saying parts don't line up, that's just lack of experience assembling things. Think about what you're doing and how this step will affect the next step and it goes together smoothly. I did it by myself in about two hours. I was able to turn it over alone by picking the entire table up and not rolling it on its legs, but if you can't do that you'll need a helper to turn it over.QUALITY/VALUE: All parts were there, nothing was broken. There were some scuffs and scratches, and places where they touched it up at the factory, but the playing surface was pristine and beautiful, with a nice texture. Being made from such fine (dust) particle board, I don't expect this to hold up to vigorous play. It's fairly light (91 lbs, some tables we looked at were 150 or 200 lbs), and the rods and players are fairly light also. So it feels a little flimsy playing it. My wife actually jolted it off the floor once playing hard. Not as bad as the cheap store units I've played, but nothing like a commercial table. I predict I'll be adding braces and screws at some point.Bottom line, I like the table a lot, it looks really good and I think it's a good value for the money overall. But I'm not WOWed. It should be fine for occasional use by kids and teens, but if you're a hard-core foosball fan I think you'll be dissatisfied. I hope it holds up for years of play but only time will tell.

Seems reasonably sturdy, but men are not balanced.
The table is in my airbnb house, and has held up pretty well. I don't actually know how much use it is getting as I'm not there, but like I said, it seems to be holding up just fine.It took a little bit to put it all together, but it is pretty sturdy. My last one fell apart so I can appreciate how important it is to have a table that holds up.One point, I had to take the men from my last table to use for this one, as the men on this are not properly balanced. They will not stay up on their own, which makes it hard to play one on one. They need to be replaced.

Good football table with some caveats
This football table is nice and looks good. Not for serious players but good enough for my kids. It does have some issues. It has 3 goalies which is wired to me but apparently very popular. You can leave out two of the players in but you need to put a bolt through instead to prevent the handles from coming off the table. This does worsen the corner dead zones which goes to my second issue. Even with the 3 goalie setup there are some dead areas. This table would benefit from banked corners. Luckily they do sell them at Amazon but it is a further expense. The player are leg wetted and not balanced so unless you are quick in switching positions they will obstruct your own plays. Also some of the nicer tables will return the ball to the sides rather than keep it at the goal but that is ok.In general it was easy to assemble and made of high density particle board which makes it sturdy but it would have been better to use coarser thread screws as they are less likely to strip. There were also several visible glue stains that although subtle are not removable without sanding and repainting which I an unwilling to do.

Good looks, not great quality.
Pros:Beautiful table with the "look" of quality.Good instructions and relatively easy to assemble.Price is good all things considered.ConsRather poor qualityEasily damagedStill takes a bit to assemble. After reading how long it took some people to assemble I almost did not buy this table. I really want to give it 3.5 stars. It took me 5 hours to assemble it by myself, including three 1/2 hr breaks and responding to my kids demanding food and micromanaging my assembly. The instructions were well done and identification of the parts very easy with numbers on each packet (some fell off, but I could figure out the number). A few issues with assembly made it less than fun and showed the rather poor quality of the materials and structural design. Once assembled though, it is a beautiful table. Only time will tell how long it lasts use by my kids, but I am not that optimistic. Note that the instructions actually said it is not for children. Say what?!Issues- Some holes are not predrilled.- There is zero room for mistakes. Make a mistake, you will damage the particle board.- A predrilled leg bracket was out of alignment and tightening it resulted in it being stripped out of the particle board. Major issue that took a wood glue and nails to rectify and that part will be weak from now on.- Tightning bolts for players not prescored and can easily strip.- Brackets are easily split when tightening wood screws as mentioned by another reviewer.Advice- Take your time assembling. Can be done by one person.- Do not overtighten anything and don't use a power drill.- Preset all screws before tightening, carefully.- Confirm orientation of each piece before you make a mistake. Mistakes are about impossible to fix due to the poor quality of the particle board.- Be careful to check the orientation of the poles for the players and their relative positions and that of the spacers.- Make sure you slot in the space boards between the legs before you lock the legs in.- Do not move the table in any way by putting pressure on the legs. They are not strong. The strength of particle board is inversely proportional to its weight.- Lock your kids in a room so they don't drive you nuts with "why is it taking you so long. I'm hungry!"

Overall a fantastic table!!!
I love this table. Have been very impressed with the quality. The shipping was smooth. However, keep a few things in mind when assembling:1. No margin for error! FOLLOW THE STEPS CLOSELY.2. The players once assembled are very tough to remove. I installed one player in reverse and took me two pliers to remove it, but of course the player now is chipped. Thankfully the customer service will send me a replacement. There are NO extra parts, even the screws are EXACTLY the amount you need. You can’t lose any piece. The table is a whole bunch of fun for me and my family. We have had some amazing tournaments already. The only problem we had with the surface is that there are “dead spaces” all across where none of the players can touch the ball and you have to start the round from scratch. Will I buy this table again though? ABSOLUTELY! Great value for money. Buy good quality balls, like the warrior foosball and you’re good to go. Will post an update after playing a few months.
