Tom's of MaineNatural Whole Care Toothpaste with Fluoride, Cinnamon Clove, 3 Count

It's great fluoride toothpaste without any crazy chemicals or abrasive mint flavor. Very nice, pleasant, easy to use every day.

I hate mint. Ok I don’t hate it in general (mint julep? Mojito? Yes please) but I hate the raw, overpowering mint that is pervasive in almost all toothpaste. I get that people want fresh breath but that stuff hurts me.And try finding decent toothpaste without mint. I’ll wait. Oh, you’re back? How did it go? Let me guess: you found about toothpastes - three are only affordable by 2%ers, one is made of mud, one actually has mint after all, and the last one is Tom’s of Maine. Thought so.I love cinnamon and clove is fine too. So I do enjoy the flavor of this paste. It makes me want to brush. Clove is good for the gums and it seems this paste is doing it’s job of cleaning teeth and gums effectively.The only negative to me is that the clove can alter the tastebuds a bit and make some foods taste kinda strange after brushing. Examples: coffee, beer, umm...some other third thing that normal people eat. I’m sensitive to flavors though so ymmv. This issue is easily remedied by munching on something else to get the ole tastebuds reset. That said, I wouldn’t want to brush immediately prior to a beer tasting.So keep your teeth clean and save the mint for those mojitos.

The only one I will use. Very nice flavor, very effective.

I got this because I brush my teeth before bed and the strong mint flavor in most adult toothpaste causes me to become more alert (kind of a mental jolt), making it harder to get to sleep.I love Tom's toothpaste in general. This is a nice flavor, and it doesn't jolt me awake."Does not contain triclosan; saccharin; artificial sweeteners, preservatives, colors, or flavors; or animal ingredients."I like it. I also like that it has *Fluoride!!* "Fights cavities - Naturally sourced fluoride remineralizes soft spots on teeth before they turn into cavities."I have been using Fluoride toothpaste for 70 years with no problems, except for several years when I tried to do without. The anti-Fluoride people are nuts (basically they don't understand chemistry). Remineralizes soft spots. This is real. (You have to have enough calcium in your diet). When I didn't use Fluoride, I had no improvement in my health, but i did get lots more cavities.

It was good to find this toothpaste without mint.

Formerly, the Tom's of Maine toothpaste I really liked was Propolis and Myrrh, It was my favorite of any other brand. Unfortunately, I got 3 tubes, so I will use them. Meanwhile, I will be looking for another brand. I guess Tom's has gone the way of most manufacturers: make more money and give less quality product.
