Levi's Men's 501 Original Fit Jeans

I didn’t like these pants at first and almost returned them. But they won me over, hard. I was intrigued by the uniqueness of the Levi original fit. I was sick of browsing through today’s endless varieties of hyper-specific fits. Slim straight taper? Relaxed baggy cargo? For a 150 year-old supposed classic, the 501 original is somewhat obscure to today’s trend chasers. But it’s in a class of its own, with a level of quality, timeless design, and a fit that can look good on your body with any outfit or bodily changes. The fit is certainly quite unique, and I didn’t like it at first. Medium-to-high rise (near your belly button, not your hips), button fly, roomy crotch bordering on baggy, but perfectly medium straight down the thigh and leg. I thought it was weird and unflattering. However, I gave it a chance due to their top-tier high quality. Now I absolutely love them and I think I’ve found my forever fit. These are truly timeless. In a white t-shirt, I feel like James Dean. Especially with a cuff, they are effortlessly cool. I’ve gotten lots of compliments. If flexibility is a priority, these jeans may not be for you. They are sturdy, with a heavier premium feel. There is no flex waistband. However I think the fit is flexible by design and they wrap around my muffin-top perfectly well. And they are quite comfortable. If you’re looking for high quality denim and/or timeless classic fashion, you should certainly give these a try.

Used to wear these as a youngster. I eventually gave up on them as the dad bod took over. Now, at 59, with diet and exercise, they fit again! Love em!

Cons: • Break‑In Time: They’re great right away, but get even better after some wears—so expect a little “breaking in.” • Sizing Can Matter: If you’re between sizes, try them on—different washes and years can fit a bit differently. Overall, these are classic American jeans that are worth having in your wardrobe. Simple, effective, and legitimately stylish—Levi’s nailed it.

Got these on a flash sale, not bad just right. The only thing they’re non stretch so you’ll feel the tightness around your waist

Great jeans, old school Levis with buttons. Its does take some time to break in the button holes for easy operation, after broke in you can undo the top and then just pull both side apart in one motion, especially in cases of emergency.

I like the product BUT be careful one pair had all it's tags the other didn't have any Levi's tags so it had been returned by some one. Once some one buys an item and returns it, it is no longer NEW it is USED.

My husband loved these back in the day. I bought them for his bday and he loved it. He still looks great in them. The old button fly jeans. Low rise and great!
