EK Tools Zig Memory System 2-Way Squeeze and Roll Glue Pen, New Package

If you're already familiar with the fantastic line of glues from Zig, you know the wet "blue bond" is a paper crafter's best friend. The ballpoint tip on this particular version allows for precision and, in theory, is ideal for any small scale project. HOWEVER, I have discovered that just like with an ink ballpoint, you need a hard surface for a reliable flow. This won't be an issue for most people but as I am a frequent snail mailer and mail art enthusiast, I tend do little projects from the comfort of my bed, not always at a proper desk. If I need just a quick smear of glue, I have to find a very hard surface to engage this glue or else it just doesn't work! I MUCH prefer the softer Zig chisel tip because I can get glue to easily flow regardless of the surface I'm working from--even a pillow! So ultimately this glue pen, for my purposes, it not as versatile as I'd like. Additionally, Amazon's bulk pricing is superb for these glues but when sold individually?! Yikes!

I love this glue pen for adhering small pieces!
