## Questions & Answers

**Q: Designed in Germany but where is this product made?**
A: I own three Braun alarm clock which are 20 years old and functioning beautifully. However as I have become aware that these are manufactured in China I prefer to look elsewhere.

**Q: I need instructions on line;  cannot figure out how to reset and lost the paoer instructions?**
A: The clock can be reset by using a pin or similar small item to push in the reset button.

This button is located at the far left of the back of the clock, to the left of the ON-OFF button that controls the BACKLIGHT function.

**Q: How can you stop the alarm after it goes off without sliding the on/off button in the back and the alarm will still sound the next day? Or can you?**
A: Do not believe the clock alarm function can be shut off EXCEPT by using the ALARM ON/OFF slider at the top center of the back.

In other words, you must activate the function each day.  No independently recurring function possible, only manual use of ON/OFF slider.m each occasion.

**Q: The instructions say not to use rechargeable batteries.  Why not?  What about lithium batteries?**
A: The rechargeable batteries are not fully powered as regular good branded alkaline batteries which may impact its functionality, hence we recommended to use good branded alkaline batteries.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great personal alarm clock, but...

This is a great personal alarm clock for occasionally seeing the time, and it is high quality. It is well designed. The arrangement of the buttons and switches is logical and convenient and quiet. I prefer AA batteries instead of AAA, and it is a plus that this alarm clock uses AA batteries. It is also great how the weight is distributed on it so it's difficult for it to tip over. However, if you are looking for a general clock to easily and quickly see the time, then it's not as great as it can be due to how dim the display is. Depending on the viewing angle, it can be difficult to see. It will appear as a black display with faint text and you have to tap it to momentarily turn on the backlight on it. The image in the photos here for the product is misleading in how bright it is with the backlight off. It works really great as an alarm clock as you just need to see the time on it only to set it and when necessary and you can quickly tap it to momentarily turn on the backlight. So, if you just need to see what's on the display occasionally then it's great. However, for it to function as a more general all-around clock where you want to see the time anytime throughout the day, then it would be nice if this product had better viewing angles and a brightness adjust.
