Why does it say all natural and pure when it is refined which the label also says?

Some companies choose to refine their shea butter to get out extra impurities. Bad thing about that is that it can take out extra nutrients. White shea butter is the natural state of shea butter. Yellow shea butter has added color and herbs, which give it the yellow color. The herb usually uses in yellow shea butter is borututu. It give the she butter extra healing properties. So when ever you see yellow shea butter, there has been something added to it to make it yellow. But refining is the process used to take out impurities, but it's still all natural.

Is this grade A shea butter?

This was the worst shea butter I ever ordered and ruined my lotion I was making. It is 100% not pure. DO NOT BUY!

Why is the shea butter yellow? The nut’s insides are whitish, so I’m wondering where the yellow comes from if you didn’t add anything.

It's yellow because some of the tree bark was added to it during the process when Shea butter is white it has been filtered and it's more pure.

Can I use this to diy lip chap?

Yes but it seems to work best on dry skin. If you will use it on your lips you should rub it on your fingers first and soften the cream first.

Smells like burnt rubber.

It smells like burnt rubber and the color of the butter is yellow. Feels like Vaseline. Does not smell pleasant at all. I don't think they refined it properly.

It stinks and smells horrible!

I’m not sure about this product. It smells horrible. I gave it 3 because I don’t know about the softness or if it works on my skin. But I can’t get past how bad it smells. I’m probably going to return it. I don’t want to stink!
