Why did I wait so long to get one of these units
I put this unit in my sunroom and I just love it. It does a great job and it is so quiet you don’t even now is running. I will purchase another one when I need one and I would recommend this brand to anyone.

Was skeptical at first, unit install was easy and worked good until 4 months later had an internal system leak at the compressor and the freon leaked out.I am working with the warranty department to get rectified...we shall see?

Worst packaging, unit damaged. UPDATED REVIEW 7-13-2018
I cant believe for this much money an item would arrive in this condition. Besides being torn up and upside down, the mounting feet are bent. If this AC works I will give it a better rating but so far this is not even worth a 1 star. UDATED 7-13-2018- Unit installed and working great despite the outside unit cover damaged badly. Decided to keep it and give the product a better rating since we are not sure how and where the shipping damage occurred. It does produce cool air very well

Worthless Equipment and Klimaire is a scam
Like others have said, this unit never worked from day 1. It was professionally installed and still never worked. I believe the issue may be something wrong with the circuit board. Anyway, numerous calls to the company went nowhere and I'm starting to believe if this company exists at all. Like others have also said, the unit came with a dent, so I'm not sure if that has something to do with its functionality. The non-responsiveness of the company led me to dig a little deeper and I found that, although they are not a member of the Better Business Bureau, many people have gone there and voiced their negative opinion of Klimaire. I do regret this purchase, but I also believe that I am a smarter consumer because of it. Heed my warning, do not buy ANYTHING from Klimaire.

Works great and was a great price
I have had this for 2 months now, installed. I waited till it was actually up and running before writing a review. OMG!!! I love this unit. It truly kicks butt. I live in Texas where it has consistently been running over 100 degrees... my office is a cool 72. You can't even hear it running. It has not increased our electric bill all that much either, which is very nice. I will definitely buy one again if the need arises.

Has never worked!! Months later and dozens of calls to Klimaire with no response :-(
I have tried for months to have Klimaire, the manufacturer, to stand behind their warranty without any luck. This unit has never worked and we had it professionally installed. They have had a list of things I need to do to have the warranty kick-in and replace the unit, but I am never done and they never do anything on their part. I have been trying for months to get them to do something. Then they have the nerve on the last call to ask why I waited so long!! Don't waste a grand on this piece of worthless crap. I have never been so disappointed in a product.
