i ordered the bass D flute, a lovely instrument that was wa-a-ay too big for my fingers. I sent two emails asking which of their flutes would be a better fit for average hands. they simply told me to return the D and get a different flute, without saying which one. their flutes come nicely packaged but without a fingering chart or care instructions.if you know exactly what you want, I think Maharaja is good. if you're new to bansuri, and want some support, look elsewhere.

Played nice for about an hour, in tune, then I heard a crack and noticed the oblong shape of the bamboo cross section had cracked on the apex of the elipse, sad ... had stress in the bamboo which makes me wonder how long this bamboo was seasoned ? Return

This instrument arrived with an incorrect tuning of D Sharp rather than a D natural. Quality control has been bad with this company.
