Mr. Coffee Brew Basket

I bought this as a replacement for my coffee maker's basket when the O-ring broke. Read the product information carefully and didn't see anything that looked similar to my coffee maker's model number, etc. It was very difficult to tell if this was what I needed. But since it's less than $15, I went ahead and bought it and figured I could return it if it wasn't the right thing.I received the basket, and it wasn't the right thing. However, I didn't bother returning it because I was able to take the O-ring from this basket and make it work to repair my old basket. This basket has the hole directly in the middle of the basket while my old one has the hole slightly off to the side, so the shape of this basket wasn't the right fit for my coffee maker.Maybe pictures of the models this basket fits? The model numbers are not enough information to decide if this is what you need to fit your machine.

The brew basket didn’t fit like the original. I thought it would be more universal. It does work, but doesn’t fit exactly.

I ordered three of these as I replace them on a regular basis. This makes for better coffee. This brewer is used in my office for myself and my office mates... when I ordered these, for some reason the vendor (Buy-It-Now) sent me two different models of this product.the BCA1-051-12 and the BCA1-051-5 modelFor some reason, the -5 model has raised ribs that support the  Mr. Coffee WF10 Water Filter  frame properly and the -12 unit does not, it has sloped ribs that allow the WF10 to slip and tilt inside. This is not a huge deal, because I can use the -12 model without the Water Filter frame.Although the -12 model says it supports the Water Filter, it seems to always tend to fall inside the basket and just isn't supported properly.Now I can't tell you why there are two different models, I can't tell you why the vendor shipped me two different models within a single shipment but I can tell you one works great with the WF10 Water Filter and one does not. If you don't care about the Water Filter, you won't care about this difference, and as mentioned I can use the -12 model without the Water Filter, but the two models are different... Other than that, these work great.

Saved us buying another new coffee maker!

Though I wrote the seller it was a good deal, had not installed it yet. When went to use it, spring loaded coffee water release was centered and mine was off center, therefore it did not work. Did not realize the port for my brew basket was off center and theirs was on center, I sent the part numbers on my basket, and theirs showed that this was the correct substitute. Can't return as snapped off piece to see if it would fit. I would suggest purchase of this item as it is of good quality, but realize before ordering if your brew basket port is centered or off center.

Amazon and Mr Coffee performance was not good or helpful and they both need to Label their products so you know what MAY work. Could not get a clear replacement product number from Mr Coffee on what would work, not even from their own website, and ended up waisting my money

Can't find the brew basket anywhere locally - pretty much you'd have to buy a new coffee machine, and I didn't want to spend the $30-$50 to replace a machine pretty much works for this piece of plastic where the spring on the bottom popped out and for whatever reason my wife decided to throw out without thinking about the functionality (keeps the water from dripping out too quickly - thus allowing water to taste like coffee).Anyway, it works. And I'm tasting my coffee again. A little bit pricey for a piece of plastic, but better than throwing out a coffee maker and getting a new one. I use this for my Mr. Coffee 12-cup coffee maker.

So i ordered this assuming it was the brew basket with the center piece based on other reviews. However, i received the off center basket. I did not bother with the hassle of returning because i was just missing a little plastic piece that i took off the new one and replaced on my old basket and it works now.
