The media could not be loaded.  I don’t think I would consider installing a camera system that not at least 4K. With the 4k resolution you really start to have the ability to read license plates from a reasonable distance. I have been using this system for a few weeks now and its pretty good. The image quality of the 4K cameras is outstanding. I can zoom in and see every detail. Its not all about pixels though. These cameras have good contrast, accurate color reproduction and they handle bright spots and dark areas really well. The audio from the cameras is very sensitive. Conversations are clear from about 25ft and beyond that you can tell if someone is laughing or yelling. I found the monitoring and playback software to be of high quality and full of features. Its easy to figure out and works well. Everything in the box is well packed and good quality. The system came with 6 cameras and six 60ft cat5 cables. The cables were soft and easy to run. They didn’t have any spring action like some low quality bad plastic cables. The night vision mode looks good. The illuminators on the camera light things up that are 40-50ft away. I was surprised that the human detection worked so well. It detected a friend coming over at night but did not detect a deer that was on our porch the next morning. I set the recorder to always record but on the playback time line bar it will still show you movement and human detection events. This feature is a real time saver when you are searching for some action. It great because at a glance you can easily see where something is happening in the video stream. Having two USB ports is super handy. I just leave a flash drive in the USB3 port and plug the mouse into the USB2 port. The mouse that comes in the box works ok but you may want to spend $5 on something a bit sturdier. Having an audio out connector is very handy. I use an external speaker with a volume control and I can tell what song my delivery person is humming.I used a few of the new cameras that came with this system on a system I bought last year. I scheduled about an hour so I would have time to make the older system recognize the new cameras. To my pleasant surprise they were totally plug and play. In less then 5 min I had the new cameras working. I use a camera to monitor tenants who are coming through a security door. These new cameras are much better at dealing with the glare on the glass door. I am not sure how it does that but I like it!!(update)I have had this system now for over a month and all is going well. I have had the need to ask the manufacturer a few questions and my experience with customer service was very positive. They are easy to contact and answered my questions quickly and with accurate and professional answers. I am still quite happy with this item.

I switch from 5mp setup I used for three years. These cameras have a much clearer picture when you zoom in.The PTZ on the 4k system is 100 percent better. However the zoom and focus function are either very hard to find or do not exist. The download function of pictures and recordings from the app onto your device is much easier now.My dealings with customer service both with the 5MP and the 4K have been great experiences. You have to remember that they are eIn a different time zone than anyone in the United States so the best time to contact them is after 6 PM Pacific time. They have addressed any issue I have come up with and have been very helpful.I wish they would allow you to use different apps rather than the one app that they have the link to in their instructions. I would also like an Internet browser interface rather than having to download the app to viewed in windows. Every system has its ups and downs, for the price this system works very well.UPDATE As I said I have had great luck with customer service. They read the review. They sent me the link to use in a web browser. ALSO I did find focus and zoom I the app it pops up when youtouch ptz. Thanks again people at onwote.

As a professional installer these cameras are great and come with instructions for a normal person without tech background. Excellent quality with audio for each camera and simple playback and remote access options.

Been ordering from this brand and its better then Lorex and nightowl security camera systems I've had in the past. Easy to setup and phone app does not crash like others. Also very few companies will let you view the recording from the NVR on the Mobile app.

Bought the 4K - 6 camera system and hooked up the first 2 cameras. Tech support was great and answered all my questions via email or chat. Picture quality is good. I suggest setting quality to auto to save bandwidth, which will adjust quality to the situation. Like the human detection box. App on my phone works well. PC setup took me a few tries and had to make sure I had the correct program downloaded. NVR is small and light weight. Cameras are not as sturdy as my old Lorex system, but they are easier to install. I do like the zoom capabilities. For the price, I feel this is a great system and well worth the peace of mind.

I upgraded from a 720p system that I have been using for 6 years with no issue. A massive improvement in terms of image details. It was a bit difficult to point the camera to the angle I wanted compared to the previous bullet type however, since this camera has a wider field of view, I was able to cover more space. The night vision is ok if there is ambient light but otherwise in total darkness you can't see more than 10-15 feet away. Overall I'm happy with this kit and perhaps would buy 2 more cameras to max out the 8 ports in the NVR.
