At first I was disapointed because it was so thin. I was going to return it but found it impossible.I kept the rug and put on my wood floor. My dog can walk without slipping and it looks nice.The price was excellent and since it's in my kitchen I'm not concerned about ruining it.

I love this rug and love the price even more. I would have paid twice as much at a big box store for this rug. Color is same as in photos. I plan on purchasing for each of my rooms. They look perfect in my pre 40's farmhouse.

I bought the 8x10 red/ivory rug. It's looks great, but it is thin. Real thin. I didn't realize how big it was going to be, but I'll make it work. It comes rolled up and I unrolled it and put some books on the most inner edge. It also has some ripple in it, but that will get sorted out.If you're going to put it on top of a carpeted room, you'll be ok. If you're putting it on a hard floor, get a pad. Trust me.

Recently we purchased a new (to us) home in the mountains of north Georgia. It is a large log cabin with great wood interiors and stone fireplace. We decided to go for a more formal “Scottish hunting lodge” look rather than the traditional “rustic cabin”. This rug tied the living room together nicely.For the price the quality of the rug is exceptional. It’s thinner and a bit lighter than more expensive rugs we have but it works perfectly in the space and has room for a door to easily pass over it.The color was a bit muted from the picture but actually work better.

Beautiful rug, we do like it very much but I missed the small print of the actual size. It is not 8 ft by 11 ft. It's almost 6 inches shorter on each side.

This rug was perfect for under my dinning area. It brought the whole room together and inviting . The rug is soft and warm on the feet. I needed something that was not as expensive as a real one, that if something happens to it that I wouldn't feel I wasted my money and could replace. It did make the room smell like new carpet for a few days, and the the ends took a while to unroll. Had to use some weights to get the ends to stay unrolled but now it's all good.

My husband and I were both astonished when we received this beautiful rug! The colors were absolutely true to the advertised picture, and the quality and beauty of the design was unbelievable for the price that we paid. It was packaged and delivered perfectly, and it flattened out very nicely under our table. Someone else had criticized the odor of the new rug, but it doesn't smell any different than any new carpeting or rug would smell. It looks amazing under our dining room table, and I would absolutely recommend this rug to anyone...you won't be disappointed!

I should have read the reviews about the smell of this rug. I noticed a smell but ignored it. However my cat did not. My cat, who had never urinated in the house before, wouldn't stay away from this rug. We bought a black light and chemicals and were in our living room daily attempted to get rid of the urine problem. We did not connect it to the rug. l spent $186.00 at the vet to find out my cat was healthy with no urinary problem. Things started to "click" finally for us when I noticed our small dog sniffing at the rug. I immediately pulled it out of the living room and put it on the front porch. We have had no problems since. Unfortunately I have passed my return window by a week so this rug has ended up being a very expensive mistake. At least my cat is healthy! I would avoid buying this rug if I were you.

I am only giving this rug 2 stars because although it is beautiful I was very disappointed with how it layed .I realized after reading institutions it would take awhile ,but after a month it is still buckeled on one side ! It was delivered wet on one end and that is probably the reason why . Wrote to sell and got no reply !!!
