I dont know if I can say enough how fantastic this gi is. Returning from a 16 year hiatus, getting back into the groove of it all, I realized something I didnt have the first time around was a solid gi for tests and tournaments. This absolutely fits the bill. That "snap" sound it makes with good kicks and punches is delicious! Love this! A NOTE ON SIZING: I am a 5'9" 145 lb athletic built woman. Based on othet reviews I bought a size 3 and SOOOO GLAD I did!! It fits PERFECT! my usial size in Century is a 4. It would have been way too big though in Ronin . Brilliantly executed Ronin! And thanks Amazon for selling!!

As advertised, and per comments, a little on the larger side- tournament quality snap on Katas
Good quality - looked at others, needed another gi in a pinch and couldn't wait the 2 weeks for the more "well known" competition gi manufacturers. For the price this is a very good deal. We prefer this "longer cut" of the jacket as is more popular with Shotokan/Shito-ryu/Shukokai styles.

It's way too big
It's way too big. I ordered the size according to the chart. It was HUGE when it arrived but I decided to wash it because it was supposed to shrink. It's still huge. Now I can't return it because I washed it already. I will probably give it to someone or pay for fitting.

Like this fit and heavy weight material Bought this in black for my 13 yr old black belt and the white Preferred over the Century brand in fit and quality

Works well
I've only worn it a few times, and havent had a chance to train with anyone else while wearing it yet, but it's a good gi so far. Will probably have the sleeves tailored, but I usually do. I mostly bought it to make kicks easier. In my last gi I had to pull the pant legs up to kick high because the pant legs were constricting. Kicks are better in these. I do wish the area around the upper thighs were a little wider. The next size up was way too big for me, but these are a little tight for my hips. I'm a woman, with naturally wider hips, so thats a common problem in a lot of clothing for me, especially stuff thats considered "unisex" like gis. So I can't honestly take off any points for that but it is something to consider. May be worth ordering a size up and then having it taken in to fit better, if you have similar concerns.
