Sure it’s up there in price but it’s very durable, the silk doesn’t shed yet plastic lint that polyester does and we’re not breathing that crap. Natural fibers are important for us and we support those whose businesses take that into consideration. Also, equally important, my kids use it nearly everyday and sometimes sleep with it. It can be a fairy, fly, bee, butterfly, plane etc. Lovely colors that last even after a few cold washes!

I ordered these wings for my 7 year old daughter, as she is obsessed with flying creatures. She LOVES these wings (green is her favorite color), and has worn them multiple times a day since receiving them. The stretchy elastic loops are easy to don, and she says they are comfortable to wear. They fit her well (she wears a US size 7/8, or Japanese 130 cm), though she seems to be at the top of the size range because of the spacing of the loops across the back; her US size 4T sis can also wear them. The hand loops, which she wears around her wrists, are not elasticized, though I think it might be more convenient if they were. The silk is a nice weight, very "floaty", and she loves running around in her wings pretending to soar. She begged to wear them out and about, and I have to admit, the wings were pretty eye-catching paired with her cotton sundress and leggings; they folded down nice and small in my purse when my daughter was ready to take them off. I was worried the silk would be too fine and catch on everything, but so far, the fabric is holding up well, with no tears or runs.Overall, these silk wings are beautiful and holding up well to normal play. They brought some magic into my daughter's life, and I would not hesitate to order them again. I would definitely recommend them.

My granddaughter loves Sarah’s Silks. She has some of her ribbons and loves playing with the, they are so soft! Made of “real” silk.This set of wings is now her new favorite. She loves the silky soft feel, very smooth to the touch.The set is very easy to use. She was able to put it on immediately!All she had to do was slide her hands through the loops! That’s it! I really love that she can put them on all on her own!I also got her a headband with butterfly antennas. She is now running around as out little butterfly.Measures 26” long. Our granddaughter just turned 4-years old and it fits nicely!

Cute but its not silk. Very disappointed in this item.
