Ultra-FabProducts 19-950001 - Steel King Pin Tripod Stabilizer

Skeptical at first, but the boss kept insisting (wifey - yes dear!) and glad we did (I listened) ;-) We have a 32' 5th that had a bit of play and wobble even with all wheels chocked. After lots of research and video watching I purchased this (UF Ultra-Fab Products 19-950001 Steel King Pin Tripod Stabilizer) tripod with hopes of it helping some... The package arrived a day early and in good shape. After opening and verifying the contents, assembly was quick and easy. Set it up in the driveway for a test fit and function and was very happily pleased and surprised! The following week we were off on another adventure and it worked without any issues. For us and our application, it works and took almost all of the wobble away that we were experiencing. We're very pleased, you might even say we're happy campers!

Excellent product, sturdy, very easy to use, light weight. Provided excellent stability. I needed to turn it a few more times than they did in the videos I saw but overall I’m very pleased. My only complaint is that the lock is very cheap. I guess it does the job while camping, but for storing I’m going to try a regular straight trailer hitch lock. I would highly recommend this product.

Easy to set up, stabilizes the 5th wheel nice and was reasonably priced. It showed up and the box damaged and one square wire lock pin posts was missing. Gotta love the USPS.

I was advised when I purchased my 5th wheel that the way the frame was designed I would not need a tripod support on the king pin. And that may very well be true. I generally don't experience any issues. But I do get some mild shaking and vibration when I run my washer, which sits in the front cap over the king pin. Adding this tripod to the king pin took most of the whole camper movement I get during the spin cycle, out. And, if I'm not imagining it, possibly making it more stable in general. In any case, I'm happy with my purchase..

Wow!!! This stabilizer has made a huge difference while camping. We have a washer/dryer combo that used to shake the 5th wheel A LOT. Now that we have this stabilizer, I barely notice when it is running.Additionally, when we do camp, we take along our 4 kids. Again, I hardly notice it when they start jumping around and doing their thing. It has been nice not feeling the 5th wheel shake.The chain at the bottom allows for adjustments to be made. Depending on how tall your king pin is, it is designed to be held taut with the chain, then twisted tight with the threaded top. Very nice design and very light weight (for a 6'4" 210lb guy). The plates at the bottom are pretty sturdy and I have no worries about the stabilizer sinking. If you ever do camp on softer soil, just use blocks or scrap wood to widen the footprint.

Very easy to use and sturdy

We have a 34' 5th wheel and our room is in the 5th wheel. I have not liked staying in the camper too much due to the rocking motion that we get up there at night from the wind or even the dogs moving around. And yes this happens even though we are level. The hubs and I decided to try out this 5th wheel stabilizer to see if that would help. And I am pleased to report that it did in fact help. The king pin stabilizer is quite easy to put into place and adjust. The rocking motion has pretty much stopped unless there is a bad storm and unfortunately there is no getting around that. But I highly recommend this king pin stabilizer for anyone who is looking to help stop the rocking motion on your 5th wheel!

This is one of the best tripods on the market for 5th wheel campers, but in a lot of cased it is just too tall, depending on the level of the site. The campgrounds I have camped in the last 6 months are so out of level I just leave the tripod packed away because it won't adjust low enough. Perhaps longer support rods would make it able to be lowered, but as is, it will stay packed away and unusable.

Great product! Easy to setup, took all of 2 min. Was lucky that I didn't need the extension legs for it (have to buy separately). Made a remarkable difference in the stability of the trailer.

Excellent product. Lightweight and stabilizes my 5th wheel nicely. Easy to set up!

Good quality product. Needed to buy extension legs at an extra cost . Only down side of this product . Oh yea I painted the tripod to keep from rusting
