A fallacy is an error in logic a place where someone has made a mistake in his thinking. This is a handy book for learning to spot common errors in reasoning. - For ages twelve through adult. - Fun to use -- learn skills you can use right away. - Peanuts, Dilbert, and Calvin and Hobbes cartoons. - Includes The Fallacy Detective Game. - Exercises with answer key. Review: Good - While I was researching this, I found some reviews claiming that some of the examples given in the book had political angle to them. As I wanted to buy this for my son, I ended up buying cheaper kindle version, reading through that, finding it just fine, and then I ordered print version for my son. Review: Good book for adults too - Easy to read and get through. Some fallacies tend to be super nuanced so the simple explanations help.

Great examples
My sister and I read this book together and discussed each chapter to help understand each fallacy. Now being aware of the fallacies, it is easy to pick up on them in conversations with others. Great tool for rational thinking and discussions. I can see how these could be used in home schooling.
