Great tail light, good for Hardtail builds, attached it to my sissy bar hasn’t given me any issues at all.

It's a beautiful taillight and is very bright for its size but has f'ed me over twice. The first time I bought this the screws and cover fell off, letting the light board snap off as well. I replaced it of course and locktited the screws which seemed to fit the problem. 2 months go by and as I'm omw home it just stops working... I look and find that the wires have broken off the internal board. Not of my own fault as I left plenty of slack in the wires for movement from my springs. If the wires were just a little better connected I'd definitely buy again but as of rn. I'm stuck with a daily driver bike and no rear light 🤷🏻‍♂️

the chrome finish is nice.

For starters, my motorcycle is a 2015 Yamaha Star Bolt C-Spec and is in very good condition.Now, that being said, the extremely thin wiring on this light is very very flimsily soldered to the chipboard that drives the LEDs. If your bike has any sort of vibration to it (any VTwin at all, IMO) stay away from this.This worked wonderfully for about 3 months and then on my way to work one morning I was pulled over for no tail light.Interesting, I thought.I explained to the officer that the previous owner had botched a wiring job that I'd fixed and replaced the ruined light with this one due to that, but perhaps I'd missed something and the issue re-presented itself. He didn't ticket me but obviously told me that I needed to get it fixed ASAP.Got it home after work (with daylight to spare, thankfully, because frankly that's dangerous) and looked at everything I'd done, only to find that no, the fuses were still intact and my wiring was properly done as I initially thought.Then I took to disassembling this light. Lo and behold, the black wire had just disconnected itself from the board and due to how tiny the wiring is and how the soldering job is done, it's nearly impossible to repair without precision tools.So here I am on Amazon shopping for a different tail light to replace this one. I don't know if I'll find any that are high quality enough to live with, but I can tell you that this one isn't.

It seams like fairly decent metal. But the white section burned out in about a month. Idk i wouldn't recommend buying this.

Overall it’s a good light. Easy install. Wire gauge is thin as well as the sheathing.

Lasted about 4 rides, the whole inside assembly came apart and is just rattling around the inside. brake light still lights up, running taillight is broken. V disappointed.

Ordered two and both broke within a month. Doesn’t matter if it “looks and feels good out of the box”.

Good product but it took a long time to arrive. Made of metal and durable design as well as pretty easy to install so if you have a bobber project this is what you need period.
