I've been using this paint for years on the underside of cars and other things I don't want to rust. It's reasonably hard wearing once it's properly gone off. It can be slightly challenging to overcoat if you're using a brush and an acetone based topcoat so try not to be in too much of a rush. I like the fact that once the surface protection has failed, the paint tends to fall off rather than allowing rust to propagate invisibly beneath an apparently sound paint film, so you can see what's going on.
