I then noticed a few things when he started walking at 10 months (yes that fast!). He struggled to calm down for naps, still woke up sometimes for seemingly no reason, had dark circles and pink around his eyelids, kept putting everything in his mouth, and eating dirt (PICA). The first thing I thought of was parasites as I had had them earlier that year and did a cleanse. Did a baby safe parasite cleans and he did have them. BUT parasites can cause anemia!!!!! The cleanse helped with some issues, but a couple persisted. I decided to supplement iron as I knew I was anemic too. I found this amazing brand!! A couple days after starting it, his symptoms were going away! He now takes long naps, sleeps through the night regularly, and doesn’t put as many things in his mouth. The taste is not bad at all! Yes it does have an iron taste, but it’s very light.
