One of the best book for time management

It took me 4 days to finish this masterpiece. I didn't know that until I noticed that from my Amazon homepage. I am not showing off I am just explaining that I LIKE IT.Enough about me.So, the author tries to explain in a very subtle way that even though our time is limited (4K weeks) we need to live the limited time in a ‘however we want’ way.The author again and again bring’s into attention that we are time. And there’s no time running parallel to us.I really like the way in which this author really hypnotised the reader to think about various things in a new fresh manner. It compels the reader to imagine, to ponder and to revisit their personal lives.A very special effect of this book is that it urges the readers to sort of reflect and calibrate their lives according to the will of the author of this book. That being said, it’s not a bad feature but what I mean to say is that it’s effective and relatable.Again, I am not saying this is the best book ever, nor is it an irreplaceable one, but it’s certainly one of the books I am going to recommend to people (can’t help that).My prediction is, this book will be famous in the future.Good luck. Its a great book. Reading and comprehending initially felt little tough. As it went by its was completely different kind of experience to open your eyes to the fact that the time is unlimited but our time on this earth is limited. Great Read.

Very deep but at the same time easy to read. Covers the topic of human mortality and the shortness of life really well. Provides practical guidance on using this understanding to make better decisions on using our finite and short time in here on planet Earth. Highly recommended to my fellow Earthly mortals.

Basically it boils down to taking life as it comes and enjoying the moment and not waiting for the perfect time.

This is not just another book on time management and productivity, moreover it's a philosophical book with altogether a different but real perspective.Author has explained the finitude of time and so as life which was mentioned in many other books as well but in different context but here it's explained very well.A worth reading book with lots of learning.

One of our misconceptions is that finishing the "to-do" list helps us to control the time. Oliver Burkeman showed it is futile to catch the time, rather it would be more enjoyable if we embrace the present moment and accept the uncertainty of the future. Oliver Burkeman showed that there is a sense of liberation if we can accept our limitations. Once we realise that we have limited capacity, still we can focus on a few things to get more satisfaction in life. Do nothing is extremely powerful to get rid of time, but extremely difficult in practice. Making 3 lists will be very helpful to do something meaningful.The only surprise to me that Oliver Burkeman provide a gem of reference except one. The name Eckhart Tolle is completely missing who advocates the power of now and wrote several books on the same.
