Med Lab 50 Vaginal pH Test Strips for Women pH 3.5–6.5

These are amazing. I struggle with ph issues and this lets me know when something is off. It’s easy to match the color to the chart. This helps me know when I need to go to doctor to see if I have an infection or not. Everytime it’s been out of normal limits, I went to doctor and I did in fact have an infection.

These don’t replace a doctor, but they do confirm if something funky is going on. Then you can go to the doctor.

I am currently breast-feeding and read that breast-feeding women can have a higher pH, I bought these to make sure that my pH isn’t too high of a level, they are good for tracking

These look just like my ph pool tester strips, but you are not supposed to dip these directly into the “pool”. You need to swab the target and then rub the swab on the test strip. My test strips kept coming back on the no bueno end, which confirms why I feel like I had relations with a cactus. Days passed and I began to wonder if if the strips could produce any other reading cuz I took some remedy for my nether region’s “situation”. Sooo, I proceeded to swab my dogs bowl, the milk carton, my La Mer cream, and in-between my toes. Results=the strips do read other PH levels other than angry cooter. While reading the pamphlet that comes in the package I stumbled upon the following: "Yeast infections normally do not cause an increase in vaginal PH. Your vaginal PH is likely to be in the normal range with a yeast infection, however you may still gave symptoms such as itching and redness. Use the vaginal PH strips and the included Vaginal Disease Symptoms Chart to check your vaginal PH and rule out infection." So basically these testing strips won't tell you whether or not you have a yeast infection like they advertised they would. That's the whole reason I bought these but it turns out they were essentially useless in my case. With BV and trichomonas, your PH levels will be elevated so these strips could help diagnose those two things, but not a yeast infection. On top of that, you need a cotton swab in order to collect a sample to test, and these do not come with cotton swabs included. I was fresh out of cotton swabs so even if I wanted to take a test, I wouldn't have been able to. Overall it was a waste of time and money buying these. The one good thing is that returning them was super quick and easy. That's the only good thing I can say about this product.

these testing strips are perfect. people who have daughters should be getting these for them and making sure they know how to deal with issues girls and women deal with i wish my mom would’ve educated me more

The strips work well, unfortunately when you use them a couple of times the strips don't last long, The stick colors have already changed. It's hard to figure out where they can be stored to keep them from going bad after a couple of uses.

I've tested 6 brands of pH strips (some expensive, some not so) at a time, and Med Lab's strips have been consistently reliable. I would buy these again.

Really easy to use with detailed instructions and advice on how to help. Colour changed almost immediately. Would recommend highly. Is a pack of 50 so can frequently check how the pH is doing. If you’re doubting that something is wrong trust your gut. I went to the doctors and they said everything was normal but I knew something was off.
