Kelsen Original Danish Butter Cookies, 64 oz (4-16 oz tins)

I have ordered these cookies several times, in different types of packages. They have always arrived on time and in almost perfect condition! They are fresh and tasty. I will continue to order this brand as the packaging is great. In a total of 3 separate orders, and six separate tins, only 2 cookies were broken. They always arrive well packed. One tin was dented severely and still only a couple broken cookies. I wish I had found these before christmas, as I would have sent many of them as christmas presents. The tins are beautiful and reusable. I will continue to order this brand as long as they are available. I cannot give a glowing review on all cookies I have ordered from amazon. Many arrive damaged and are a disappointment. I have only recently begun ordering edible items from amazon. I have spent hours looking for danish cookies, and so far find these the best quality and value. My last order was for 4, one pound tins. I wish I could find these in just one pound tins as I would have a recurring order for them. The 5 pound tins are beautiful, but honestly, it is a lot of cookies for a small household. We had no problem gobbling them all down, but smaller sizes would be a better choice for us. Although the shelf life is quite long, I would prefer to order more frequently and have more variety.

These are the best butter cookies I've had. When the can is opened it's hard to resist not to eat the whole tin at one time. They melt in your mouth, and have a wonderful taste. They never disappoint.

I've always preferred Kelsen over other brands. Was actually able to get one order of these from Costco last year - that was a first. But Stam SalesAmazon came through with them and this is my second order. First order had 2 cracked cookies - not biggie. I used to buy the 5# tins and they were generally 50% or more crushed so this is a pleasant surprise. Obviously smaller container packaging does a much better job of cushioning the cookies. As long as these are available, they'll always be on my S&S list.

If you like good quality butter cookies than these are an exception. These cookies are a best quality in my eyes. I had a very hard time not to eat all at one setting. These reminded me of holiday warmth. Even though I purchased over the Summer,still would buy for myself or gift. Not too sweet or too bland. Perfect.

These cookies are the BEST butter cookies we’ve ever had! My Dad got them as a gift last year and I can’t begin to tell you how many tins of cookies we’ve bought since then!! I’m embarrassed to say, but I bought at least 50 POUNDS OF COOKIES since that one pound little tin!! 🫢😳. Need I say anything more!?!

Overall, a super foodie experience. Cookies arrived in excellent condition—NONE broken, tins were perfect (no dents), and they were delicious. And, cookies were made in Denmark! We ordered these twice—in March and in April (2020 pandemic)—and expiration dates were for early 2021. Price for 4 tins is a bargain. Tins have a Christmas theme—perfect to reuse for holiday cookie gifting. We will order again!

We like the butter cookies. They are small enough to be satisfying without having to eat a huge cookie. They all arrived in great condition. The containers are beautiful too, and the sell by date is far enough in the future, to justify buying a few containers. We will definitely purchase this again.

These danish butter cookies are delicious. They're light, buttery, and they go good with coffee or tea. I kept 1 tin for my family and the other 3 I'm giving as Christmas presents. I would definitely recommend these cookies, and they would make a nice holiday gift especially since they're often purchased around the holiday season since they compliment coffee and/or tea very nicely. I always used to get the Royal Dansk in the dark blue tin around the holiday season and although they were always good I think the Kelsen are even better. I was also surprised to see that their were no broken cookies in the tin that I opened. Very satisfied overall.
