These are fantastic. Look great, and have a nice heft to them. Mounted a heavy wooden shelf on a brick wall and put a ton of books on it-- They never bent or buckled at all, like I've experienced with some other brackets with a similar design.

We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen. We removed cabinets and chose to have open shelves on one wall. These brackets work wonderfully with 62" long 2"×12" boards. Very durable and strong enough to hold plenty of weight.

Very good though they are not perfectly square. I install them on a stud, place a level, and if needed I use a 4 foot long pipe to bend them into shape. With the 12 inchers, if you only need to make a small adjustment and you have the strength, the part is long enough that you can get some leverage and bend it by hand just a bit. The screws that came with it are also very good, I think they are 2 inch #10 with a black coating. With that length of screw I felt confident doing the bending trick. Also, the screws took a beating when tapping into dense doug fir, and the heads still looked good. Some of the screws were missing. I topped up at the hardware store. An annoyance but I'm only taking off 1 star because it was still a good value. I would have preferred 1/4" thick brackets, and I've bent those before too. But they'd be about 50% more costly.

Sturdy brackets, worked well to hang shelves, make sure to find studs in going for a heavier installations.

Heavy duty, holds the recommended weight capacity if not more, well built. Hung a solid wood hutch type thing on my wall and have a bunch of rocks, minerals and crystals ive found along the way. Happy customer

I used these to support another shelf I bought that wasn't handling weight well, and these are super heavy duty, works fantastic. Glad I bought these as a just-in-case senario, because I needed them. One downside is that 1 or 2 of them were not set at a 90 degree angle, and because they are so thick and heavy, it's almost impossible to bend. I ended up drilling these ones last on another project, so that the weight of heavy object would help push it down. It's so strong that it's pushing up on it, and that's fine with me. I know the shelf isn't gonna come down.

These worked well for my project. I could paint on it and its very sturdy.
