This unit works well and appears to be pretty accurate. Install was very easy and it s powered by an internal replaceable battery. It is small enough to mount anywhere but big enough to read easily. It works really well on my Honda Ruckus.Update 11-20-23: These tachs are basic but GREAT. I ran the one on my Honda Ruckus for years until I sold the bike and it was still working good. I now own a Honda PCX 150. I tried the cheaper ones (two of them) but they were junk. I remembered having this on my Ruckus and how durable, accurate, and reliable it was so I ordered one for the PCX 150. It works great on it too! It is very water resistant as I've gotten caught in the rain a few times but like a Timex watch, it takes a licking and keeps on ticking (Or taching rather)! It doesn't have a backlight but I don't care about that as I don't ride much at night and the LCD display is clearly visible during the day , even when it's cloudy. It costs a little more than the cheap ones but it is worth every penny if you want an accurate, durable tach that fits in tight spaces and is built for the long haul.

Works ok, not fast to respond, but good for cruising RPM's. Easy as can be to install! Stays on all the time. And its not backlit like the listing said it was.

I've been buying these for years, many years. They are simple to install and fairly accurate, enough for my needs. However the price for this simple gadget has nearly doubled in price and has approached the gouging stage.

I purchased this after buying and installing a cheap Amazon knock off. The knock off failed within a few hours which was super disappointing. As such, i removed it and returned it. I then decided to try something which costs a little more. This devices works great. I only wish it had a temp function as well.

Inexpensive and quality. This shuts off automatically and last longer than the run leader. I’ve owned several of these and prefer them.

Really stupid it's not been updated to use a CR2032 or such. Disposable tachometer? WTF? I knew that going into it, and it works perfectly as intended. Didn't want any other functionality or form factor....

Trail tech makes product that do not work.customer support is no use . Always a hustle to return product. This is my second time I am burned with their poor quality product. My bike is totally ruined because of their garbage.

This is small and installs easily. It is easy to read and accurate. The button to change from tach to hours takes quite a deep press to change it, but I don't need to do that often. Goes to sleep when motor is not running. Have it mounted just below my throttle and is easy to see at a glance. Thinking of buying one for my lawn mower as well to track service intervals. Good product!
