Just buy the appropriate adapter. But really you’re wasting your money. You’d be better off using a piece of plastic tube duct-taped to your camera **Q: Hi can match Leica X2?** A: Don't waste your time. I ordered this and it was optically faulty. The image it created was badly blurred. **Q: Will this work for viewing really old slides?** A: That's not how it works. It works with cameras. **Q: Will it work on Leica iiif with 50mm lens?** A: Sort of. If you choose the 35mm version, it will show a wider field of view than your IIIf's 50mm lens. You'll need to keep this in mind when composing. I use it on a Sigma DP2M, which is also around 50mm (equiv.). The real downside is its poor optical quality. The image is very blurry, so it's a strain to use. I think they messed up when designing the lens system. I know it's not me since I use numerous optical viewfinders and don't have problems. It's just their bad design.
