ID tag
Love that it displays only my name and keeps the rest of my info hidden. Super sturdy and seems to have stood up to the baggage handling of airlines as well as trains.

Excellent and Attractive Luggage Identification Tags
I like using metal luggage tags - Before I moved here I had brass engraved ones on all my luggage. But the address and phone number is now different - so those old tags, as expensive as they are, are now useless to me. These are encased in aluminium - and have a replaceable address card where you can write information and, if/when it changes, you just make a new card. You can also cut a business card down and use that if you prefer - in both cases you can use the provided plastic piece for water protection for the card. The edges are rounded and smooth and look very nice. They attach to the luggage via a braided steel cable that is coated with plastic - so it does not catch on your luggage. The cable itself is stainless and thus is less likely to rust. The tags come in 8 different colours making it easy to either coordinate with the colour of your existing luggage - or possibly use one to contrast with it. (I came through a Houston Airport yesterday and was surprised at how many unclaimed suitcases there were - and the most common colour was black. Its much easier to find your suitcase - even a black one - with a luggage tag that is different than most. I will order more tags in various colours (as my bags are not the same) and am glad I found these. I received this item for free or at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Great tags, if you follow this advice
These a pretty, and quite easy to spot at baggage claim. I've used them for years now. They may get a little dinged from time to time, since they are aluminum, but here's the key advice: They come with a card insert and a clear cover that slide inside the aluminum shell. You need to make a couple of extra insert cards to go behind the ones they give you. the goal is to "fill" the insides so they become solid. One or two card layers is all it takes, and it makes a world of difference. Don't stuff them, just fill them. I learned this because I made my own inserts on the computer, but I kept the original cards behind my own. If they do happen to get a little bent, they're quite easy to flatten if they're filled.

Impressive, well made, good price.
For years I've used the standard leather luggage tag and for whatever reason I'm constantly losing them; I think they are being ripped off during luggage handling at airports. I tried self-made ones with the rubber attaching loops but they didn't hold up either. I came across these and decided to give them a try and purchased enough so my family and I each have three. What I like is the color, they definitely stand out and will probably help IDing your bag. They are rugged, the attaching chain seems strong and as long as you check to ensure the tightening screw is tight, I don't think they'll get lost and fall off. I like the fact it only shows our name - someone would have to remove the tag, unscrew the chain to access all the info. I think if the card had been printed on both sides and the corner cut on both sides; it would be easier to change addresses; for example when my daughter's flying home from college she would have our address but when she's flying back she could flip the card and have her school address. I haven't traveled with them yet - I have a trip next week so if they make it, I'll update this review.

Works well!
Worked better than expected after reading the other reviews. Did not have any issues with the address paper going inside the luggage tag, and the metal cord attachments are easy to screw on and off.Was helpful to have a colorful bag tag at the airport baggage claim.

Great little tags.
Really like these tags. Use them on a trip to Disney a few months ago. Worked very well. I like having my information on my bag without everyone seeing all the personal details. Only name shows through. Gave my bags a very professional book at a reasonable price. They're not real heavy duty, worked well for what I needed. I did carry my bags on the plane so they were not thrown around like the checked luggage is many times. Do you not know how tags will hold up to that kind of treatment. The way I use them...Should last for years to come. Very happy with purchase.

Great Luggage Tags
If you're a frequent traveler you'll know how hard it is sometimes to spot your luggage on a crowded baggage carousel or when piled up at the end of the jet-bridge. All I wanted was something that would make my traditional, dark grey bag stand out amongst the sea of other dark grey and black bags. These brightly colored, heavy-duty, aluminium luggage tags come with identification cards, stainless steel cables, and solid screw connectors. They are exactly what I was looking for and more.

Great, sturdy, and inexpensive
My family travels a lot and we have used luggage tags like this for years. They are tough and light, and we like the fact that only the name shows, so no other information can be gleaned with a casual glance at the bag in passing; one would need to actually remove the luggage tag, pull out the card inside, and reattach it. Not likely to happen.

These are GREAT.
These are extremely practical as they only show your name and now your full information unless you unscrew it to check.. I forgot my carry-on bag at an airport restaurant and had someone retrieve it and call my number. So happy i bought these

They seem to be quite sturdy but have not tested them with any airlines yet
These tags are as pictured. They keep your personal information out of sight of wandering eyes, but it is available for those that need it, They seem to be quite sturdy but have not tested them with any airlines yet.
