ShineIn Clear Plastic One Way Check Valve for Aquarium Air Pump Replacement Small Air Valve for Fish Tank Pack of 10

After having a problem with my tubing detaching from the pump and water draining onto my hardwood floor went in search for this type of product. As I have a 55 gallon tank with several aeration lines picked up 10 of these. Upon arrival (very fast shipping) installed all 10. If after installation you have problems with air flow remove the valve and blow into it. I found 2 of the 10 needed to have this done. Once I did that have not had any problems with a reduction in air flow and they have been installed for 2 months now. I also like the fact that they come apart for cleaning so I should never have to replace them unlike others which once they clog you must throw them out and buy new ones. I highly recommend these check valves. They work great.

Two of the 10 would not work - completely stopped up and i could not get air to flow (yes I had it oriented correctly)Great customer service - heard back almost immediately in response to my review and offered to send replacement valves.After taking another look at the check valves I did not realize they unscrewed so I was able to repair the two that were not working and now they all work just fine so I am updating to 5 stars.

I use this with my CO2 system as an extra precaution. It works as intended for the most part but I can sometimes spot drops of water below the check valve when I wake up in the morning. I like to create a little loop in the tube so that the check valve is pointing down and/or placing the valve just below the rim of the aquarium. This helps to keep water from flowing back through the check.

all but 2 of these either didn't work (no airflow from the pump to the tank or very restricted flow). Very bad quality. I don't want to affect my account or pay for return shipping so I'll be writing the seller directly.

Airflow is good will buy this brand again.

Item arrived on time and is as expected. While I have no used all of them, they seem to be well made and will work fine to product my air pumps.

Simple hard plastic body with a rubber one-way valve inside. Inexpensive insurance in case power fails...prevents water from siphoning back through tubing and ruining your pump...or worse, emptying your aquarium and flooding your house. These are the only ones I've ever seen that can be dismantled if service is needed. Others were made to be disposable.

Bought these for all our fish tanks, Hoping that they work (haven't tried them as of this review) Hubby wanted them so that if the power goes out water won't go up the air tube. Worth the price for the amount you receive. Very pleased with this.

Although the one way valves do work, the bodies housing the valves leak air. A dab of silicone on the threads did the trick. Also make sure you check the valve opening and how it's seated in the body as some were misassembled or stuck shut.

Had to open them up and check valve for proper function of valve. About 3 out of 10 worked probably.
