Build- 5/10 Def cheap plastic, clearance on some of the molded pieces could be tighter.Not bad enough to effect its use, just its feel. also the battery gets hot pretty quick, i would recommend not using this product for long periods.ease of use- 10/10 super easy, charge it, download app, turn on, connect phone, done. people who are complaining they can't connect need to read the instructions againeffectiveness- 8/10- very good! takes some practice and a steady hand, but it works great. also of note, the camera has some sort of stabilization software that makes it so the image is always oriented one way, this can be helpful but also kind of disorienting at first. just practice outside of your ear first to get a feel for how rotation effects the movement you see on the screenquality of picture 7/10?- its good i guess? its not 4k or anything but its good enough to very clearly see wax.

I like some aspects of this product. I have only used this on myself personally, but it does work. The features i do like about it is the easy to setup wifi & app features, you can see right on your device exactly where your going with an LED built in light and the clarity was great, and can even take pictures. The price was also affordable and easy to use. So here comes the Cons to this product: I'm not a fan of the scoop, it comes off way too easy and I'm very gentle when scraping the layers of wax inside my ear. Although even when not scraping, the scoop tip constantly falls off. This is a giant safety hazard, as I've had the tip come off inside my ear even with gentle usage, luckily it was far out enough i was able to remove it from my own ear with my fingers. But it's still scary to think of the scoop tip getting stuck inside my ear or a child's and having to go to a medical professional to get it removed also comes at a cost of time and money. The other downside I didn't like was the wide stick itself, it makes it slightly uncomfortable, and im an adult, i can't imagine it would comfortably fit in a childs ear. Also i found that the scoop tips were also slightly uncomfortable as well. Some improvements should be made here not only comfort wise but most importantly for safety reasons. So overall this product was OK in my opinion, it does the job, i was successful at removing some wax from my ears, it was easy to set up, easy to clean, came with extra scoop tips and was affordable. It was mildly uncomfortable but like i said, the product did it's job.

Bought this and I got exactly one good look inside both of my ears, then the camera quality was so awful I could no longer see clearly.The instructions indicate you can clean the camera lens with an alcohol cloth, but I did not find that to be the case. The camera is recessed inside the tool and there is nothing protecting it, so if you stick a cotton swab or other cleaning tool it smears the wax around the lens and you cannot get it out.The camera quality was manageable at first, but after one time use it was foggy and blocked. After attempting to clean per the instructions, there is a "kaleidoscope" effect on the image where small circles distort the image (see picture).This came with a card insert for product warranty and other issues, but I don't trust it. The email address is a disposable email address "random first name, random last name, 1996 at gmail" -- about what you'd expect from a product that's made in China.In hindsight, I would suggest you don't waste your time. I'm going to consider this a lesson learned, and just go to the ENT doctor to get my ears cleaned professionally.

I like the ease of use and camera. I needed a minute to get oriented. As others have said, the tip can come of but I was scrapping too hard. I panicked a little but used a second tool to pull that one out. At one point they both broke off but was far enough out for me to get it. I like the app and it was pretty fun but I also watch earwax removal videos. I have bought 3 more as gifts since mine.

PLEASE READ THIS.....I JUST got this on the first of December 2020. I used it a couple times to see how it works and it was definitely Cool at first. I charged it for the first time today 12/6/20. No light or anything showed it was charging I went into my bedroom a half hour later to see if it was charging and when I grabbed it it burnt my hand. I unplugged the usb from the wall charger and smelt it. It literally smelt like it was on fire/burning plastic. I took it in the kitchen and it was still hot and you can see where it actually was melting! I have it in the sink right now but It seriously could have caught my house on fire. I’m so happy I was impatient and went to check on it. Please do not get this item for you and your family’s sake. I NEVER do reviews but people really need to know what happened to us :(

I got it because my husband's ear started to hurt. I just cleaned both of his ears with this product and it was so simple! This is definitely going to make our lifes easier. Instructions are easy to follow and it's packed nicely.

Pretty cool tool. Actually helps to remove earwax instead of push it in like cotton swabs. Having a tiny camera in your ear is quite revealing! It does take some getting used to but once you get the hang of it, it works quite nicely. It has functions for the left and right ear. You can also take pictures and video. The light is adequate and so is the camera quality. I would like to see a more sturdy spoon attachment but overall, I love this concept. My recommendation is to rotate it as you use it, it helps you understand the location of the spoon to your ear canal. I don’t think I’ll be going back to swabs anytime soon!
