Plastic, but nice
Looks like glass, at least when new. As long as you know that, they look nice and work well.

Looks Like Glass
I was surprised when I felt the jar. It feels like acrylic but it LOOKS like glass. The lid is nice and secure. Overall a great buy regardless of the size you purchase.

Perfect size! Holds 7#'s epsom salt. Wide opening easy to use a scoop.

Great container but tough lid
The size of this container was just what I was looking for but I didn't like the lid. It was very tough to put on and take off which I guess is nice to help keep younger kids out but not what I was wanting. And the edge of the plastic ring on one side was curled so you could see it clearly through the container. I ended up taking the rubber ring off so the lid just sits on the top and it was perfect for me.
