The belt is bulky but I love the ice and compression concept. It’s good for around the house use. I really like the design of the ice pouch Velcro to the belt concept.

Better than anything else I've tried. Ce pack that comes with it Doesn't stay cold long. It is difficult to reach the pump to lock and remove while it is on. Doesn't provide as much pressure as expected in lumbar. I wish it had more attachment or pockets to add ice packs on sides. Ice pack provided isn't very big

The ability to pump air into the belt bladder makes it unique and able to give the best fit possible. Appears to be solidly built with a Velcro clasp that should last a long time

With all the padding -- it's hard to get the heat to your back. Nice concept, but not worth it.

This is useful for getting your low back iced down and it is very comfortable. The ice pack it co.es with is great. My only complaint is more of a wish that the ice pack lasted longer. Maybe if it was thicker with more material perhaps.

The gel pack is an amply sized rectangle that is attached to the belt via velcro strips. The gel pack can be cooled in the fridge/freezer or warmed in a microwave. The product details mentions the heating aspect, with little details. The user guide states to place the gel pack in the microwave, set at high, for 25 seconds. Let it rest for 1 minute, to allow the heat to spread evenly within the gel pack. Then touch the gel pack to assess the warmth intensity. To increase the heat, microwave at 10 second durations, until the desired warmth is attained.The belt exhibits quality design, materials and construction. Close examination finds the belt to be free of defects and flaws. The construction is excellent, with no errant stitching or poor seams. The belt feels like a premium level product. Durability does not seem to be a concern.After applying the belt for a snug, comfortable fit, you set the switch to open and use the hand pump to fill the bladder, increasing the compression element of the product. When you achieve the desired compression, you close the valve. Simple, common sense operation.They claim you can wear this under your clothing: " Unlike other gel pad products, ours discreetly fits under your top..." While you could wear a loose shirt, sweatshirt or similar over this belt, anything slightly form fitting will show evidence of the belt. After all, it's not just an elastic belt. And, all their pictures show the belt worn over a t-shirt. This is not a flaw or misleading product statement, so it doesn't ding the rating. Just a clarification of real world use of the belt.This product provides good coverage of the back for heat/cold therapy. It's a very credible support brace, with a user controlled compression feature. Attached are photos to show real world images, with a ruler for size reference.In summary, this compression support belt with hot/cold gel pack matches the images and descriptions in the product details. It's a well designed product with quality materials and manufacture. As such, it earns a 4.75 - 5 star rating, with a very high level recommendation.

Too small. Kept poppong open on me...

The ice pack just doesn't hold the cold very long. You can swap it out for a different ice pack and it holds it in place well.
