Fast write speed, lives up to the hype.
This is my most used flash drive. It has write speeds 10x or better than most everything I've bought. It saves a lot of time. 30mbps-100+mbps depending on file types. Been using it for a while and it still works great. I tried a lot of drives that failed to live up to their specs, was really happy to find this. I haven't compared the performance to more expensive USB drives, but it does beat everything I have used.

It works for Unraid. That’s all I needed it for
This worked for booting into Unraid. That’s what i needed it for and it works great. It has a GUID number so installing the Unraid OS from the install tool in Windows was super easy. Unraid only meeds up to a 32gb drive so there is still ample storage on this drive. It also immediately was recognized by Windows so if you’re using it for that, compatibility shouldn’t be an issue.

Great drive for a Raspberry Pi
Works like a champ with my Raspberry Pi running Rasplex. I've installed the operating system on there and now the Raspberry Pi is much more responsive. I'm using it as a media centre and this device is perfect for that as the light is not too bright. This setup has been going the best part of a year and shows no sign of trouble. As a drive, this device is sleak, simple and clean. Works everywhere I plug it into, driverless as well. Pros: * Great design * Great speed * Works with a Raspberry Pi * Light is not obnoxious Cons: * None - (keep in mind that a con is not "another product is better")

Cannot clean filesystem with detergent and super-wash-cycle at the laundromat. Otherwise, perfectly suitable thumb drive!
It was *okay* -- I bought it at the same time as my SanDisk Extreme usb 3 drive, of the same capacity and it is noticeably much slower, but it also cost roughly 1/3 the amount. It's faster than normal USB flash drives, and it was cheap. Worked reliably until it took a trip through the laundry. Not to say it advertises *anywhere* that it will survive being laundered, but I *will* say that the SanDisk survived the wash and dry cycles.

Great Value For Price and Speed
I will be quick and concise as possible with my review. I needed USB memory stick to transfer large blu-ray rips 10GB and television shows. I never purchased a USB memory but initially purchased this item: Kingston Digital DataTraveler 101 Generation 2 - 32 GB Flash Drive DT101G2/32GBZET http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004TS1J1S/ref=oh_o06_s00_i00_details However the write speed were atrocious writing at a speed of 5MB/Sec. It took about 40 minutes to transfer one blu-ray rip which was not going be practical. So returned it decided on this item which was only an extra $10 to get a USB 3.0 stick. Tested it out first on USB 2.0 since I'm chugging along with a five year old desktop that doesn't have USB 3.0. I'm getting speeds of 25MB/sec which is 500 percent faster than my returned USB 2.0 stick and transferring 10GB blu-rays around 4 minutes. I decided to purchase a PCIE express card to get USB 3.0 listed here: 2-Port USB 3.0 Super Speed PCI Express (PCIe) Card Adapter by JACOBSPARTS http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005JEOM4C/ref=oh_o04_s00_i00_details I went from 25MB/sec to about 35-40MB/sec write speeds with USB 3.0 I was thinking of also buying a "Patriot Supersonic 32 GB USB 3.0 High Performance" stick, however this item was $20 more about 33 percent more with reviewers claiming 60-70MB/sec write speeds on USB 3.0. It has high reviews but always be careful with post-purchase rationalization with more expensive items getting better reviews simply just for being more expensive. This item was plenty fast enough for my needs and the marginal difference for paying 33 percent more for about marginal transfer speed increase that would probably shaved off out 1 minute from a transfer time of 4-5 minutes did not justify the higher price. This item earns five stars for the price, speed, and value of having faster speeds.

Good for storage, not for booting
While good size and fit, I made a problem when it was plugged in that my PC would try to boot from the drive. I'm sure you could fix this, but I'm not tech savvy enough for that.

Bad Design?
I purchased over 40 of these drives for my employees to use as a PC tool kit. I wanted something fast as they need to deploy images from the USB stick in the field. Speed wise these are great, when you can get it to work. We found that if you plug the thumb drive in all the way, it will not communicate and it will act dead. We found that we have to pull the drive out half way to get it to talk. Problem is that you can not be sure it is working unless you have an OS (Windows, Linux, OSX) working to tell you if you can browse files. So if you need to boot off of this device, you have to try and get light to blink and then attempt to boot. If you are lucky and you correctly guesstimated how far to plug it in you have a successful boot. If you are not lucky, you have to repeatedly re-seat the drive and then reboot machine. So at this point all of the devices have this issue. Not a good everyday tool.
