Lots of power in a small pkg!
I got around to installing this amp and it's packs some good power! It's not competition grade but for a stock electrical system, it's got the goods! I have a ct sounds sub on the way and if that's anything like the amp, I'll be a convert for sure. Seems to be good stuff. Decent build and quality look and feel. It got four stars just because of the bass remote. Feels cheap and no clip light. For the price, I guess that too much to ask. Would I purchase again? Hell ya. I am impressed and happy so far! A+!

My New Favorite
So far I like everything about this amplifier. The bass nob is plastic and not very sturdy. I used this to push a single 2 omh 12 inch Skar DDX. The amp pushes it nicely. The other subs were 12 inch 2 omh CT Trop that sub pounds tight, smooth, rich, deep, and very responsive! The 3rd sub was Rockford 12 inch 2 omh P2. All 3 are nice subwoofers all 3 got a nice workout with this amp. It's hooked up to a DSP to prevent clipping at maxed linear Excursion. CT was 1st in every category except cost . Rockford won there. Rockford was a respectful but disappointing 2nd. Skar slide in 3rd. I know the CT amp is a couple hundred Watts less than my skar amp and the CT was out performing the skar amp in performance, sound quality, and its heavy for its size. Get the amp my next addition will be another so I can strap them and do dual CT 12's

Stays cool gives clean bass
Gives off clean power and stays cool after playing on a 650 rms sub for a1-2 hours a day while the sub is maxed out.

Great price for the power
I've been running a Skar EVL-8 on this for a little while now, maybe 2 months, and I'll say that it really pushes that sub nicely. I haven't had a good quality subwoofer setup in many years so I don't know what's really going on with the new technology and everything, but for the price, I would definitely buy this amp again. It seems like it gets pretty damn hot, but it hasn't gone into protect mode on me yet and I push it hard sometimes for almost an hour at a time. It's small which made it really easy to install in my ram 1500 storage bin under the back seat, so the airflow isn't great. That might be contributing to the heat as well so I can't blame the amp for that. For the job I've tasked it with, I'm very satisfied.
