Works. Super log shipping. Possible QC inconsistencies
If you're reading this you know options are limited for 31.8 quill stems. The bottom line is that this works fine. Looks good too - way better than an adapter. I have about 200 miles on mine so far.The bad - super long shipping (8 weeks to DC). I thought it was lost in the mail and contacted the company. They sent another and good thing they did - both stems arrived but one was milled incorrectly and allowed the bar to rock back and forth. The other one works fine so perhaps a QC issue.Finally, this only comes in one length. I wish they sold a longer one and might end up switching to an adapter so I can get a longer stem.Hope this helps.

Nice “problem solver” for traditional frames and new standard bars!
Well made and good finish. I did change the cylindrical hex head nuts to “button head” hex bolts. They are curved and lower profile which I think makes the stem look nicer.

Wrong size advertised.
Wrong clamp diameter advertised and as such, I cant use the item.

Didn't Fit
Handlbar opening was machined too far so it wouldn't hold the bar securely. Might try another to see if it was just a fluke. Product looked nice, especially for the price.

It's aight
It looks good, but the clamp is kind of strange. There are two relief slots cut which are strange and I'm assuming are designed to allow for a little extra compression. The slots do not really line up. Overall it seems to hold but I wish it came in more lengths, as far as I can tell it measures in at 90 mm.
