Does this fit a 1 1/2 inch opening?

The collar has an inside opening of 1 11/16". Then if you remove the collar then the burner has male threads that will fit a 1 3/16" opening.

Anyone tried standard paraffin lamp oil instead of kerosene? How well did it perform?

That's all I've ever used making sure it's smokeless odorless liquid paraffin lamp oil sweetheart.

Can it burn olive oil ?

I think it's on the list of oils which can be burned why pay $20 a half gallon for olive oil compared to clear kerosene at $16 per gallon? I found kerosene

Is it possible to burn citronella oil instead of kerosene using this burner and wick? Or mix the two?

Wouldn't recommend mixing fuel types.
