This is amazing! My son absolutely loves it. It has the finger holes for his hands. That's wonderful. It also has straps on the inside that look like snow pants straps that he can put his arms through. So if he unzips his jacket it's not really slipping around anywhere which is kind of fun. Especially if we're going out to do winter sports. It fits him absolutely perfectly. We were a little worried that the size wouldn't be right, but it is right. He is comfortable. He is warm. I love the design that he chose. I was a little hesitant on that but it actually looks really good on my kid. It's zips up well and what I really like too is in the hood of the jacket. It has got a tightening thing so he can put the hood on and then tighten it so it's not flying off of his head. It's actually very, very, very convenient and very awesome to have. It also has on the bottom by the lower belly that you can button it on the inside to make a nice tight seal so you're not getting a draft up into the jacket which is also awesome to have . He's extremely happy with it

Update: Since buying my oldest son this coat I have since bought two more for my younger boys. We are a big skiing family and are on the mountain multiple days a week throughout the ski season. I love these coats! I am so happy with them and would buy them again over other brands. I absolutely love how easy it is to see my boys on the mountain! They are fast and love to ski in the trees and it makes it so easy to see where they are. The neon green coat is exactly that- it is BRIGHT! The splice design is actually a highlighter yellow and royal/navy blue which I was so much happier with than the colors the picture depicted.My only complaint with these coats across the board is that they aren't more consistent in their design. For instance, the green coat has pockets on pockets and the splice design only has two hand pockets and the ski pass pocket. The hoods also vary a little bit from coat to coat. One has velcro on the back of the head and others have a drawstring. The hood on the green coat fits over my son's helmet on very cold days but the other coats do not. All of these things are little and not a deal-breaker for me by any means, I wouldn't have even noticed them if I didn't have 3 of these coats. When I took the pictures of these coats the green patterned one has nearly two years of use on it- they hold up well! I will easily get 2 seasons out of the other two for my younger boys also.If you are on the fence about purchasing one of these coats- do it! We have really put them to the test and have been very happy. My boys have stayed warm and dry and I can easily pick them out on the slopes- PERFECT.Have LOVED this coat so far! I was really surprised when it arrived at the quality of it! The zippers are completely covered and sealed, the pulls on the zippers are fantastic and easy for my son to use. The coat really is water repellant and kept my son warm and dry through hours of skiing in single digits. Not to mention the bright colors which made spotting him on the mountain a breeze. The thumb holes in the sleeves were excellent in helping to keep snow out of his sleeves and the pocket on the arm fits a ski pass perfectly. He wears the coat to school every day, sledding, playing in the snow, etc. and it has held up well. I love all the pockets that it has and the snow skirt. It has been comparable, dare I say better, than some of his other winter coats from more expensive brands. He is an average 6-year-old and wears a boys size small shirt and the size 8 coat fits him perfectly (with some room to grow). We also ordered the 6x to compare and that was considerably too small. It fit my 4-year-old son like a dream though. Definitely size up from what they usually wear. A coat that is a little big with room to grow is much better than too small and letting snow in short sleeves I think. I am very happy with this product and will absolutely be looking to purchase another coat of this brand next season.

I really love this coat. It fits perfectly and provides excellent insulation during winter. The design is both stylish and simple. It’s comfortable and looks great, so I’m very satisfied. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm and stylish winter coat.

We got this coat for the winter. The inside of the coat is high quality and contains a thick lining. My son wore it today when it was 35 degrees out and he said the coat was too hot, so this will keep you very warm!

3/6/20- still completely satisfied! Love this coat. Everything is still in tact, after almost 4 months of daily wear in addition to 3 snow outings. DURABLE ZIPPER. As I myslef am rather petite ( and i ordered it on the large side for my son) i actually wore it twice to run out in 20°F weather for an errand. Really is warm but not sweaty.11/19/19 Just opened it today. Here's hoping it lasts.Initial impression = worth the money. Great features.*light to medium weight- not bulky or heavy*seemingly durable materials, waterproof durable exterior*soft fleeced interior+ unexpected possibly heat reflective insulator patch panel on interior back* elastic pull cord cincher on bottom trim and interior snowskirt flap with snaps*thumb holes/half mitten built in + adjustable velco straps on cuffs*6 pockets (4 external zippered, 1 mesh open pocket inside, 1 clear vinyl velcroed inside)*Removable adjustable hood. Not sure why it has an elastic cincher on back of head.We Ordered 2 sizes up to hopefully get our money's worth. Usually top out at $40 for a winter coat for our son. He also has broken the zipper on 2 winter coats in 2 years. ( in addition to a hoodie zipper). Hopefully this zipper lasts.Will update with wear and tear updates.

Bought this jacket for my 9 year old son as we live in Maine where it’s freaking cold in the winter and he needed a new coat. It’s a very eye catching jacket and looks just like the picture. He’s gotten a lot of compliments on it. My son loves that it’s not a super heavy/bulky coat but yet keeps him warm. The hood provides nice coverage to where it looks like he has no face at times, but we know he’s in there. He also likes the extended cuffs as he can cover his hands with ease as wearing gloves is to much work.I should explain the 4 star rating for durability. He wore it for about 2 weeks and the Velcro on the cuffs failed miserably. However this is the only thing that failed so far on the jacket so not earth shattering but slightly annoying. Thankfully his Grandmother is old and knows how to sew so she fixed it.My husband and I loved the price for the quality. 100% worth it. The jacket is not cheaply made but it’s also not made of industrial strength whatever that would drive the price up to where a small loan is needed to purchase. We recommend this jacket as it’s cheaper then moving south. ✌🏻

Good quality and fit! Glad I ordered 1 size larger as it would be too small! Jacket arrived 6 weeks early! I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS JACKET I ordered size 12 boys 👦

Well made, lots of pockets and my son loves the colour. I suspect it will be very warm...winter is coming and we’ll see!

Not the warmest and on the smaller side but otherwise a nice jacket for fall.
