XPRS Nutra Dan Shen Root Extract Powder 10:1- Premium Dan Shen (Red Sage) Concentrated Powder - Vegan Friendly Danshen (8 oz)

Th it s us my first time using this brand and I will report what I notice so far. 1- The package is a thick well sealed and resealable ( after you first open it. To open it you must tear or cut a strip off) 2- It is a clean, fine and lite tan colored powder. The powder is very fine and will billow up into the air if jostled. 3- Directions recommend 1000 mg 1 or 2 times daily. They call this a "scoop" but that would not be accurate in America. Rather 1000 mg is equal (approximately) to 1/4 - 1/2 Teaspoons. So they are saying take 1/4 to 1/2 Teaspoons once or twice a day. I put a pinch (between index and thumb) on my tongue and swallowed in down with milk and tea. I was careful not to billow it It went down fine and I can report it has an earthy not unpleasant taste. I will take a pinch twice a day and if I have anything else to add I will . There is no Country if origin listed. I am thinking probably China or India. I am giving it 5 stars for now and add on if there is any problem but it looks ok.

I put it into my morning smoothie every day. After living with that burning sensation in my chest for months due to LC, I was super surprised that within just a week of using this powdered Danshen that I was feeling like myself again, pain free. I've had no unexpected side effects. I did have to reduce my consumption of Nattokinase to eliminate the brief stomach upset I had from taking too much Nattokinase alongside Danshen. I've found a happy medium now enabling me to take both. I don't notice the taste in my smoothie. The powder is consistently a fine ground and easy to measure and mix. I plan on using this for years to come.

This product mixes easily into beverages without clumping and adds a tinge of enjoyable flavor to things like coffee, smoothies, whipped cream desserts. I feel great and have ordered this on multiple occasions and will continue to do so.

I was found to have mold toxicity based on high inflammatory lab markers. Dan Shen was recommended by one knowledgeable naturopathic physician to help lower my TGF-B1, which was markedly elevated. I noticed some improvement pretty soon after taking this along with Chinese skullcap. Anyone suffering from CIRS knows how miserable it can be, and any and all relief is hugely appreciated! This also seems to help regulate my blood pressure, which has been on the high side at times.

Strong supplement, I had to cut back the amount I used.

Instructions state: Suggest use Take 1000mg ( about 1 scoop) there is no scoop with it and there is no translation of what 1 scoop equals.
