Nice, light scent. Good tacky hold
I enjoy the alternate scent from the original Arcadian matte paste.Both great products. Arcadian is an awesome line. Original version has good hold and all day pliability while the Cedar Vanilla scent offers that plus a more rugged and outdoorsy option(versus) the cleaner and sweeter OG version)

It holds nicely. But not the best smell
I like the hold. It applies easy and works. But the smell is not what I would call Vanilla Cedar. I like both vanilla and cedar smells. This stuff doesn't smell anything like either. The good thing is the smell fads after having it on an hour or so. Or maybe I just get used to it. It's not offensive, but not very pleasant. If it smelled as described I would give it 5 stars. I'll keep using it, but won't by this again.

Great hair product, meh smell
The paste is great - just as good as the original formulation. But tbh, this does not smell anything like "vanilla cedar", and I'd even go so far as to say it does not smell very good. On the other hand, the smell isn't very strong in the hair, so I'm not even sure anyone will notice how it smells.
