I have had 4 of these lights now and they are the best but I have troubles with spending more since have had them fail after 2-3 years. The first time I had it replaced no problems, second time i had to do my own repairs and it never got resolved properly since it was a pain. Now my other light I'm finding the leds burning out, turning black or yellowish on some lenses. For the money i expected better service and longer lasting products. My last one was just outside the warrenty window so i was out of luck.

Beware of this company! Do your home work first. They have you tube videos promoting there products but I have had nothing but problems from the beginning. When I first purchased them it said it was in stock and would ship immediately. Three weeks later I was still waiting. I had to e-mail several times to get them to ship. After receiving the lights one of the two units I purchased a row of the uv lights ceased to work. Contacted customer service and they said they would ship parts immediately. One week later they e-mailed me and told me to disassemble the light and check for loose connections. After I did that they once again said they would mail part asap but still no parts. Then one of the dimmers failed on the cree lights. I contacted again and they said they had already shipped but according to the date on the parts shipment they had just shipped when I contacted them that day. When I received the parts they were not for my unit even though I specified which type of unit I had. Then a month later the secondary lenses started to melt and turn black on both of my units. I contacted the company again and they said they were shocked and never seen that before and would send out new lenses asap. After doing some research I found out other customers were having the same issue. Once again two weeks later and no parts. I contacted again and was told parts had already shipped. When I received them once again the date on the package was the day I contacted the second time. The secondary lenses I received were scratched and of poor quality. These lighs are very expensive and of poor quality even though they boast about how they only use the best parts. Please do your research and don't fall for there you tube videos like I did. I have only owned these lights for five months and I am very disappointed! I have a gut feeling that these units are going to be a constant problem!!!

Customer service is unreachable: they do not answer the telephone nor respond to email inquiry.Bought the xml 350 under a ' no-hassel 3 year and lifetime limited warranty' and after having it repaired under warranty (five of ten 10watt leds failed), all ten 10watt leds wouldn't turn on. Advanced Led played 'parts replacement musical chairs' with me and the light is now no longer under warranty. The last I got a hold of a representative they offered to source parts. Light was good for the time that it did work.EDIT: The company sent me some replacement cree's at no charge and I swapped them out. Light is working once again.

The light worked well the first crop, then I had to send back for repair, I had bought the 650 xml after one or two crops I had to send back again because another light had burned out. It took 2 months to get the light back as they couldnt find replacement bulbs. Now after 3 years several bulbs are burned out and they told me they no longer carry the bulbs and would have to outsource them, at that point I just gave up and went back to high pressure sodium, very disappointing for a 1500 dollar light. And don't believe they have good customer service, it's only good when they are selling

After years of marginal results under Halide & Sodium, fighting cold air coming in due to so much hot air venting out, and just the normal growing issues you could imagine here in Alaska I found Advanced LED Lights. I was aware of the many lesser constructed brands, and watching out for American assembly'ers of cheap imported parts when I read all of the Advanced information on their lights. I chose to get 2 DS-XML350's just to see if I could justify moving to LED only. They perform flawlessly, their low heat emission makes room temp and humidity easy to maintain, and the plants like them too. I later purchased another 2 DS-XML350's for complete room utilization, still the temp and humidity is all under control all year round. Learning the different color waves and intensities and seeing the plants respond to changes much sooner than they showed under halide & sodium lights I love the adjustable features. Once I had the 4 DS-XML350's in the finish room I really felt the production room was dark, so believing in Advanced LED Lights as I have come to I ordered and received 2 DS300 EX-VEG for that room. Now I don't see any transformation shock from grow to bud cycle. The plants just don't seem to slow down in growth and leaves, they just start shooting out buds everywhere, real fast too. So as far as the Advanced LED Lights go I know they work better than advertised, return greater results faster and I know the investment was worth the difference. I probably have one of the highest electricity costs per kilowatt hour but the change in my electricity bill completely changed how I feel about LED's. My first concern was for "Results" in the crop but WOW, it has made home farming affordable and you still get amazing harvests. I will be adding to my DS300 collection soon, they are so good for the little plants, but you have to use the adjusters that come with them, your plants will force you to keep raising the lights so much that the adjusters become required. The Diamond XML 350 lights, and lights, year after year. Now in the third year of continuous operation. Only once was it slightly diminished when a power supply failed. Nathan sent me a replacement after a simple diagnosis via email. A brief down time to actually swap the part. Groovelodius!
