Instructions only cover older models
Otherwise this is a great product. Super simple installation once you have the instructions for 2014+ if you need them.

Great product, lousy instructions!
I installed this on my 2017 Toyota Highlander. The product is great but the instructions are poor. Instructions said the 10 pin connector is under the dash but it's actually in the rear right next to the 4 pin connector you need. After I couldn't find the 10 pin connector under the dash I searched for some online reviews and installation videos. Once I found out where the connector really is it only took me about 20 minutes to install the harness.

I only figured that out by looking up another vendors product who had awesome youtube videos
Installation instructions will send you into the weeds, not up to date. Spent time under the dash trying to follow their detailed but totally incorrect directions when all the wiring needs to done in the rear. I only figured that out by looking up another vendors product who had awesome youtube videos, oh and their product was also half the price. Check it out yourself before you buy this one. Components looked the same in the video so they are probably all made in the same factory. Anyway, mine seems to work fine so I gave it one star.

2017 Highlander XLE
I put this on a 2017 Highlander XLE and it worked great. FYI: both connectors are found in the rear underneath the long plastic bin that has the tire change equipment. You need to first remove the left (driver's) side tray (pulls right out). You will then see a nut (on a permanent placed screw) holding the long bin down. Remove the nut and the bin pops out. Once the long bin is removed, look at the wall of the floor closest to you. Towards the center of it will be both connectors. You can the run the connector that goes outside of the vehicle by removing the plug that is located on the floor where the left bin was. It is that easy.

Worked with Toyota Highlander XLE Hybrid 2017 and was simple for non-mechanical person
I'm not the handiest or craftiest individual. However, this trailer wire set-up was a snap, both literally and figuratively. I was able to get all the vehicle pieces open, connect this wire and get it to work within 20 minutes. Most of my time was spent discovering the Highlander 2017 has its wires in the back of the vehicle, not by the fuse box near the gas/brake pedals. It did not have a fuse in the set and my car needed that add (under the hood for the Toyota Highlander XLE 2017) so I needed that too.All-in-All, I felt like I saved $400-$700 by doing this my self and it actually worked!!
