Our Japanese friends told us about this seasoning for rice, Asian dishes, salads, so many other dishes. I notice that on hot, smoggy days, my body seems to light up when I taste the seaweed. Now we keep a container on the table next to the salt and pepper. It's slightly salty but not at all spicy.I highly recommend that everyone try it. It may not be to your taste, but then again, it might turn out to be an amazing thrill for your taste buds.

Use it almost daily on salad, salmon, tuna and sardines. Gives a wonderful tangy umami to fish and, if you eat it, rice. This is a mix of seaweed and salt and sugar all mixed with black and white sesame seeds. The sugar is not enough to make a caloric or carb value as it is sprinkled on food like any salt or pepper in a small amount. I discovered this when I traveled in Japan and it’s ubiquitous on everything and I love it! Use this with sweet rice vinegar on everything from soup to salad and you’ll love it, too!

Just add this seasoning to rice and you've got yourself a great taste.

If you use this often, I recommend buying it in bulk. It came quickly and was packaged very well.

It doesn't taste the same or as good as it used to be. I believe these used to be in glass containers and back then they tasted much better.
