I’ve been using the Russell Hobbs Good-to-Go 6.5L Electric Multicooker for a while now and overall I’m very happy with it. I use it regularly for slow cooking, stews, curries, but mainly rice, and it’s been really convenient. The 6.5L capacity is perfect for family meals or batch cooking, and it’s simple to use with clear settings. I do want to be honest and mention that the first unit stopped working after about 6 months. That was disappointing at the time, but I have to give credit where it’s due — Russell Hobbs customer service handled it extremely well. I contacted them, and the issue was quickly resolved with a replacement sent out without any hassle. The replacement has been working perfectly since, and I’m back to using it several times a week. It cooks evenly, saves time, and is easy to clean afterward. While the initial fault was frustrating, the excellent customer service and the performance of the replacement unit give me confidence in the brand. Overall, it’s a great multicooker and I’d still recommend it, especially knowing how responsive the support team is if anything goes wrong.

Superb slow cooker. Lightweight. Easy to clean with a wipe clean surface. The digital display is very straight forward and simple to use. Just what I've been looking for, for years. The search function helps making 'one pot cooking' and a doddle.

I was looking for a slow cooker and bought this one because of the range of cooking options it provides. It was a great decision! I've only used it for slow cooking so far, but have been very impressed withe the ease of use and end results. The heating and cooking controls are simple and straight forward. I love the fact the whole pot section can be removed from the base controller - it makes "help yourself" serving at the table a piece of cake. It's a large unit, so fitting it in the sink for cleaning can be a bit of a challenge, but that's a really minor issue. You don't need to be the world's best cook to get great results from this little wonder.... highlight recommended

My old faithful slow cooker passed away a couple of weeks ago, and it was a major family event, immediately we looked on amazon for a new one, then saw this bad boy and thought how well it would fit with our family, I wasn't wrong, this thing is amazing, let me tell you why. Firstly, its big, it can hold 6.5 litres, perfect for a larger family, or, like mine, stew for the three of us, stew for tomorrow, and stew in the freezer for when we cant be bothered. I hear you say that big means its cumbersome, its not! The digital buttons is also the power supply and that simply unplug from the dish and you can then carry that around, AND, then wash up, no more struggling getting the hot full dish out of the slow cooker and having two things to wash up, with this its just the one! Makes such a difference! Its also not heavy, but not super light, you can tell its quality materials if that makes sense. The non stick is amazing, nothing so far has stuck, cleans up so easily! Also, the lid, the lid on the inside has a little catch which hooks on to the cooker, so when you take the lid off to stir you can place it on the back, freeing up your hands and saving messing up your work surface. Small things like that seem silly but really make a difference. Also comes with a steaming tray and a roasting tray, not tried these yet but cant wait to!

The one star was a hard choice as I really like it however I can't get past the fact it only lasted a little over 4 months. All I have used this for is a couple of sous vide steaks but mostly sausage casserole and beef / lamb stew and it has been amazing and tasty and when it comes to utensils I only used silicon coated ones to protect the surface, however just over 4 months of use the coating is starting to bubble up ( the surface is not scratched or damaged but it looks like there is corrosion between the metal and the coating causing it to start lifting, I do not think it will be long before it starts flaking off contaminating the food meaning i can't use it any more and will likely have to file a support ticket.......

Fantastic I used it for Christmas Day to cook an enormous leg of lamb which ended up feeding 8! I'm yet to use all the functions but I love the fact that you can sear meat in it. Only downside I can see is that the bowl doesn't detach from the electric base with buttons on which makes it impossible to put in the oven , dishwasher and most certainly can't wash in the sink but I have a smaller one that does that though so it doesn't phase me. I love this slow cooker so much! Easy to use I bought it on sale for £49 which is a bargain. I have used slow cookers for years because they are so economical, time saving and meat always comes out so tender. I really love this slow cooker

Owned for a few weeks now, So far I love this! It is a great size perfect for 1 - 6 people depending what your making. With all the functions has alot of possibilities. I have cooked a one pot spag bol which turned out amazing using the sear function and then the boil which made it ready in 30 mins. I have used the roast function for hunters chicken and loaded potatoes, Tip: use the roasting rack, I used foil boats to keep everything clean however the bottom got to hot and burnt it a little so rack is required. Reaches temperature rather quickly. You can also keep your food warm for up to 4 hours once cooked which is great if not everyone is ready to eat yet. Was also very easy for me to clean, the electric elements just clicks and pull out, I put water into the base (bowl) and wiped clean with a soft sponge ( I didn't risk submerging anything into water) I do use foil inside to help keep everything clean.

Best thing I have ever purchased.

It works great but only after I bought a power adapter for the English plug.

Great value. For roasting not sure good for chicken. It does not brown it. So they say put in the grill, but why not just use the oven. Slow cook, excellent, searing excellent.
