I bought this bag as a lightweight way of packing things around the parks. Orlando gets plenty of midday thunderstorms, and the week we went was no exception. 2 of 7 days were dry, but the rest were full of absolutely torrential downpours.I used this bag (with a custom vinyl iron on decal that went on like butter with no bag melt) every day to haul around a poncho, battery charger, water bottle, snacks, sunscreen. There is a LOT of space in here. My bag was never full. It did, however, get a little wet inside each time it rained so I had to make sure to heel that poncho handy as I was afraid of battery charger damage.The thicker rope straps meant less shoulder dig and fatigue. The outside pocket was handy for tucking my phone or a gift card inside for easy access. The chest snap, while unattractive on a large chested woman, held the bag in exactly the right place on my 5’6 frame to minimize the flopping on my back while walking. It would be nice to have an adjustable strap, but the snap did the job.Unlike other reviewers, I had no fraying or tearing, this bag held up quite well to my fairly careless use. My family were a bit bummed I hadn’t gotten them each their own as my pack was by far the easiest to manage. I’d suggest a small packing cube or make up bag to help organize small items as the bottom of the bag was difficult to locate things in quickly. Absolutely recommend as a lightweight, inexpensive pack. If you plan to be wet, a drawstring top bag is not the best choice for obvious reasons.

At my daughter's high school the only backpack you can carry is the school issued drawstring backpack or a similar one. What was issued to the current freshman class to carry nothing but the school laptop, was a cheap and flimsy bag that quickly started breaking. I was excited to find this bag in the school colors so it will blend with the 4 years of bags (upperclassmen received sturdier bags). We embroidered the school logo on the front because the other years of bags either have the logo or school name.Given half her classes are across a parking lot the water resistant feature definitely appealed to me. She has already walked to class and found water beaded up on the exterior.Instead of eyes on the bottom corners that could rip out, this bag has sturdy loops; this was a huge plus with me as that can be a typical drawstring bag problem.So far the bag seems quite sturdy. The fabric is holding up nicely and not showing signs of wear. The straps are a nice thickness not to cut into your shoulders. If desired for throwing in a travel bag or for storage it does fold up nicely into a pouch that once removed becomes the interior pocket. Best of all, I can send my daughter to school with her laptop in a drawstring bag as required and be confident it's not going to fall through the bag.I would recommend this bag to anyone looking for a sturdy drawstring backpack.

I work as a delivery driver and I be throwing this bag around all the time. It’s a nice bag. I like the thick cords the little pocket on the side too. The option to fold it inside out to a small pouch is great but I probably wouldn’t use it cause I never need to empty my bag. But if you don’t plan on having stuff in permanently I can see that being a great feature.

Great bag. Plenty of room for lots of stuff and very durable. The drawstrings are thick and really strong. The only negative thing I could say about it, which is just a person preference, is that although the chest clip is useful, I personally don’t like the straps across my chest. Would have preferred a way to adjust the drawstring a little.

I bought two bags and was just needing something very simple. I got them and was super impressed by the look and feel I discovered, as they were top quality! Even the side zip pocket is very handy. I’ve had them a while now and am using them to hold camping gear. Wow, are the amazingly well made! These are the Cadillacs of cinch packs! Every detail is upgraded to premium material and they are way more than I ever expected, especially for the price! I will be purchasing several more of these amazing bags. I’m sure they will probably outlast me!

I use the bag for work to hold my stuff in. The bag is well made with waterproof canvas. Heavy string for the straps. Love it

I got this for walking around and carrying small stuff. It does the job. The straps seem durable. I haven't tested it in the rain but I had a water bottle spill inside and it dripped slowly thru the material so I wouldn't rely on it to keep delicate stuff dry. Overall though, it's a solid bag and I'm glad it's working out so well despite the low price.
