Garden Hotel Assembly Square Building kit

Enjbrick has several buildings that are part of their City series and I have five of them. The Garden Hotel is in the photos, along with two other buildings. Each one is equally charming in its details and easy to assemble. The instruction book is full color with visual guides, which make it easy to follow. These can be built by two people. I enjoy working on them in solitude. Each one takes a few hours and I'm always sad when it's complete. Instead of taking them apart again, I'm leaving them assembled and set up as a little city centre. If you love puzzles and architecture, you'll love putting together these kits. They are as detailed and quality as Lego but only a third of the price (or even less!). I think of them as 3-D puzzles and when compared to a jigsaw puzzle, they don't cost that much more but provide a great deal more engagement and fun. These are perfect for all ages, except maybe very young children. But even then, with supervision, they would enjoy helping to put it together. I'm completely charmed by each of these buildings and marvel at how the engineers create them! Also, it's a great way to exercise your brain! Love these and hope they make more in this series.

I'm a big fan of the Creator Expert buildings from the main brand, but the sets are expensive and few in number. So, when I saw this building, I thought I'd give it a try since it was just 1/4 of the cost of the other sets. Basically, this set is fantastic! PACKAGING - excellent quality, and made with a tuck flap that opens face up so you can open/close the box multiple times. It's great for storing the pieces you aren't yet using for your build. Inside the box, all of the pieces were in plastic bags clearly marked with "1" "2" or "3" for each level of the build. All of these bags had the correct pieces. I had each piece when I needed it. There were a few spare parts leftover as well, as you'd expect. INSTRUCTIONS - The instructions are just as easy to follow - sometimes more so - than the main brand. I did find two small errors in the instructions where they didn't specifically show placing a couple of pieces, but it was easily spotted on the next step and didn't cause any issues for me. THE BUILD - Solid and easy. I read in other reviews that this brand uses more consistent bases for building and I liked that. One thing I did notice is the buildings are as "solid" as other builds. This design has a LOT of windows, which means there may be sections of wall that are not attached to the rest of the build until you're placing the top 2 layers of trim on each level. Once that's in place, it's very solid! The interior isn't as detailed as the main brand series, but for me that's just fine. THE QUALITY: The pieces could almost be indistinguishable from the main brand! The only difference (aside from obvious branding on the pieces) is that these bricks occasionally have a slightly larger or smaller tolerance for fitting together. However, this wasn't a major issue and I was still able to use all the pieces - some just required some extra finger strength to push together. OVERALL: I'll be buying future sets from this brand to add to my collection. The quality is definitely there and you can't beat the pricing.

My 10yo LOVES Lego. He really wanted to start a Lego city but after we got a few building sets we were disappointed. Most of the City sets are nothing more than facades and they are very pricey. Of course, we were skeptical about getting a brand other than Lego, you know, sometimes the bricks are loose, or they don't fit together right, or they feel flimsy, but for the price we figured we'd take our chances. We were NOT disappointed. The bricks fit together snugly and it just holds together perfectly. The set is a complete building, minus just the back wall so you can play inside it. The floors separate so you can play inside or set up scenes with ease. Lemme tell you, the details in this set are stunning! It is so intricate. Needless to say I was impressed, and my son has already wishlisted all the sets from ENJBRICK We are looking forward to building more of them. The only downside... if you are used to Lego's instructions where they are 200 page manuals where every step is laid out 1 brick at a time, this will be a little more challenging. It isn't difficult but sometimes you have to look at what changed in each step to make sure you aren't missing anything before you move to the next step. It isn't anything too difficult, just a little more complicated than standard Lego sets... but in all honesty there is more going on and more pieces than a standard Lego set, so the challenge is understandable. We had a BLAST putting it together and we can't wait to do the next one!

This set was great! I'm always on the fence about knock-off LEGO sets. This one was pretty fantastic though. The good: All pieces were there. Things usually fit together very well. Same size as actual LEGO sets, so, fully compatible with minifigs, other blocks, etc. Great value given the number of pieces. Looks very nice fully assembled. Instructions were pretty good. Color. Nice booklet. Grayed out previous steps. The bad: The bags are sorted by floor of the hotel, not by steps, so, there will be a fair amount of sorting pieces, since you have to open up 8-10 bags per level. Some of the blocks took some effort to connect. The second floor balcony isn't as sturdy as it could be. The third floor is a little sparse. The weird: There were a lot of extra flower pieces as well as golden cookware included that aren't in the assembly instructions at all. Some of the dark gray and blue-gray blocks can be a little difficult to tell apart without adequate lighting. Several unusual choices for building that felt less sturdy because they would use two blocks that were one-by-two instead of one block that was one-by-four, etc. A few steps in the instructions had a lot going on, and should probably have been broken down into two steps instead of one. Overall, it was a great addition to the collection, especially for the price!

This is a very detailed set. Bricks are same size and quality as LEGO bricks, so this is full size and compatible with their sets. I was hesitant due to the price being so cheap, but was so surprised with how detailed and fun the build was. I had no missing parts and some extras at the end. Everything fit together and the instructions were easy to follow. Bags are numbered to follow the floors. I will be buying the rest of the ENJBRICK sets!

My child enjoyed putting the kit together until she got to the 3rd floor. The kit was missing several pieces and two pieces came broken. She had to use legos to replace the missing ones. She does enjoy playing with it after she build it. Directions were good and size is good too. It is stable when she plays with the set.

This was another set that I bought from ENJBRICK and I loved it just as much as the others I've bought from them. The build was fun and easy to build. The directions are easy to understand and the pieces snap together fairly easy. It has lots of little details that make it interesting. I will definitely buy from them again.

This is a great set! Pieces fit together so nicely. It’s really very close to the brand name ones and the price is kind of unbelievable. The instructions are a little different, but good. Note that it’s built in 3 parts (for each of the 3 levels of the building). The pieces within each part are divided up into multiple small bags, so you really have to open a lot of small bags at once and you may want to have a big surface to work on. I love that for some of the pieces where it might be hard to tell, it gives you the dimensions so you know exactly which block you’re looking for and not trying to guess (see my second photo). I also love that it’s not a knock-off of an existing set from another brand, but an original building. I had no missing pieces and, in fact, had a few extras.
