BMW internal battery replacement for key fob
Had to cut open the key and solder this battery in, but it works perfectly and this fix saved me $330 for a new key

Poor fitment
The shoulder of the prongs flare too wide above the surface of the battery, which when installing on the board of the BMW key fob, does not allow the battery to sit flush. This makes it impossible to seal the case of the key back together. The only positive was that it did at least allow me to re-pair my fob to my car and verify it's functionality, but I will have to order a different battery to ensure I can seal the case back up.

Dropped my fob and it stopped working. Had to open it up (E70 no comfort access) and solder this in. Has worked fine after the surgery.

Typical Chinese Made Product
This battery was not like the original design and was a pain to install as the connector posts that are soldered to board were bigger and off from the original battery. I can’t say I would recommend, but buyers be aware.
