Excellent Addition to the Aquarium
Very low profile that works great in my 60 gal aquarium. Instructions are not user friendly for programming but there are many good YouTube videos that make programming easier. With that said, the factory settings work well, but I wanted to adjust the power to a little less movement. I would highly recommend this product as one of the best in this price range.

These are quiet!
Perfect for a nano tank. These are quiet! I actually have it at the lowest level and still able to produce good wave and flow. This is 3rd hygger wave maker. Purchased the bigger one for my 60 gallon and just as quiet and powerful

Awesome wavemaker
The wavemaker design, compact, easy to set up and use. I like the 1st order so decided to get a 2nd one. My Anemone love the wavemaker also.

Trash. Worked well for a little while.
I've purchased a couple of these. The first one worked maybe 3 months then it started ti get loud and started vibrating like crazy then stopped working. I opened it up, cleaned it, still nothing. I ordered a replacement, it was working well so I went ahead and bought a 2nd one for this tank. New one came not working. Amazon sent me a replacement. Both have been working a little over maybe 8 months and now the newest one has stopped. For $99 bucks and only lasting 3 to 8ish months, they are definitely not worth the money. I did honestly like how quiet and they functioned when they worked. The life span on these just doesn't seem like it's worth the money.

Nearly silent, convoluted setup, seems like a lot of pump for the money
First of all, if you're on the fence between the 1600 and the 2600, get the 2600. You can dial down the big one for a correct flow, but to ramp up an undersized one may lead to an early failure, and if you've had fish for any time at all, you know what I'm talking about. I had a NERO 3, which I really liked for every reason, but at 18 months it expired. When I saw the new price and weighed it against life expectancy, the answer was to be found in a different product. I chose the Hygger based on reviews as well as my experience with their lighting, as well as a price of less than half of the previous pump. The HG951/2600 comes pretty much pre-programmed for a days' cycle, once you enter your local time. The business of the lights and strengths, wave period etc., is something you can get to if you feel like it, but if you just run with the factory setup, you should be ok. The only things I would change are 1) I would like the power adapter to have a pigtail so it takes up less space on a power strip, and 2) the cord from the power adapter to the controller is about 3 ยฝ feet long, or so, and I wish they had split the difference with the line from the controller to the pump which is maybe 5 ยฝ feet. I like that it's black - it disappears against the black back of the tank. It's very quiet, initial setup takes ten minutes, and it's reasonably priced. Oh, and it moves a lot of water, gently. Now let's see how long it lasts.

Great product
Great wave maker a little hard to figure out reading the instructions that come with it but if you google it there are videos that will help you set it up and once you learn how to it's quite easy to use.
