Somehow, my kids' sink had some kind of disgusting black sludge building up (or growing) on the inside of their pipe, and it was slow to drain. No other sink in the house has anything like it.This brush just arrived and I promptly crammed it down the besieged tube, whilst the water flowed. I withdrew the azure wonder a bit too greedily, however, causing the stout bristles to bespeckle the walls with the vile substance. To rise I allowed the water, thus preventing this once unexpected effect from further darkening the interior. A quick twist and another plunge and the sludge was no more!Into the closet goes this fine implement until once more called upon to perform a plumbing angioplasty.

Update Sept 6 2020: I love this brush even more...it cleared a slow draining sink! One of the sinks in the bathroom was draining slowly so I removed the stopper and used crystal drain cleaner in it (you know, the hard core drain cleaner). After flushing the drain with cold water it seemed to be running a little better so I was going to reinstall the stopper but noticed the pipe was looking nasty inside. As it turns out this brush fits down sink drains too and it pulled up all manner of gross slimy filth (it was beyond disgusting). I kept working the brush farther down until it started to bend through the trap. On the second push/pull through the trap I heard a pop and water rushed down the drain like I haven’t seen in forever. The sound of the draining water changed too...it was clearly running freely down the drain. The sink now empties like new again! I don’t want to know what mass of hair/dirt/soap/mildew got pushed out of the trap by this brush because I would never be able to unsee it, I’m just glad it’s gone!Original review: The cover for my shower drain is not attached and periodically is dislodged (usually by one of my cats who thinks it’s great fun to lift the cover out of its spot). The drain pipe was nasty...black as far down as I could see. I tried spraying cleaner and bleach spray into the drain (not at the same time!) to no avail. As soon as this brush came I took it up to my shower and now the pipe is nice and white...all it took was a few swipes with the water running!My shower drain pipe is 2” in diameter which is probably the most common diameter. This brush fit easily in the drain and was in full contact with the side of the pipe at all times. This diameter brush would probably work as well in 1.5” pipes because the bristles are firm but not overly stiff.The length of the brush is perfect...it reaches down to the trap and curves around the first bend somewhat. The brush even pulled back some chunks of I don’t know what which surprised me because I periodically use crystal drain cleaner to keep the drain running smoothly.The brush was easy to clean...the black crud from the sides of the pipe didn’t stick to the brush and was washed down the drain. The chunks from the trap I picked out and threw in the trash.I feel like I’m overly excited about this brush but honestly I was so sick of looking at the black drain pipe. I can’t believe I wrote so much about a simple brush but it was so satisfying to clean the drain...I wish I’d bought this long ago!

I use this brush to clean out the sink drain lines. For some reason my drains tend to grow mold and get pretty gross. Wrapping a towel around the top of this brush and cycling in and out of the drain 5-10 times cleans the drain lines like brand new. Very sturdy and effective product.

I bought it for scrubbing the drainpipe of a vanity sink where the stopper is removable. It is well constructed, initially feels like it will get trapped in the drain, but does a good job and will loosen up. It's has the right diameter for bristle brushes to effectively remove gunk.

We were having trouble with our sinks draining properly so I ordered this. It works fantastic but I will recommend rotating it and sort of pulsing to pull it out instead of just yanking to avoid covering your sink and potentially bathroom with whatever nastiness is in your drain. Oh, and definitely run the water while you use it if that isn't obvious...

I use this to clean my shower drain, I have tryed everything but when I look down the drain I see black and it drives me crazy so I bought this it does a great job ..but when you pull it out be prepared it is gross , It seems like nice quality so I should not need to buy anytime soon but I will when I need to replace.

This product is a wonderful bang for you buck! The price is wonderful for the multitude of different types and amount of brushes you get. They also sent a personal thank you note, which was really sweet and appreciated! I highly recommend this product and company. I have no complaints or negative feedback.

It did not pick up the dust on our refrigerator coils as the video we watched (which recommended the brush) showed. It was not as soft as we thought it would be. We ended up taking the back off the fridge, and blowing the dust bunnies off the coils with an air compressor (and vacuuming each time we blew). That worked well.

I got the 1-19/32” brush and it is perfect for cleaning the sink drain. I’ve cleaned the drain in the past with a smaller brush, but the water still wouldn’t drain as quickly as it should. This brush did a better job and the sink now drains perfectly. Highly recommended
