A bit pricey, but low profile, light and well designed.
There are much cheaper rod clamp options, but this one does an excellent job for those of us wanting to keep our rig as low profile as possible.

Another well made SmallRig item
Pros :Low profile and light weight.Solid build.Easy to use.Cons :Using a Manfrotto 502 head the tightening screw knobs hit the base when trying to rotate. Needs a 5mm raised base from the head plate so the screws can rotate more easily.Rods have too much play. Could do with two sets of tightening screws, front and back, or more accurate 15mm hole for rods.All in all a good design and well priced.Above ‘cons’ not stopping me from buying.

Not bad for the price
It goes well on a lot of cameras however I do have to say that even with the screws it has a bit of play, so make sure you screw it tight.

Excelente producto.
Al principio no me transmitía mucha confianza teniendo solo dos puntos de tensión de las barras en lugar de cuatro. Lo cierto es que me sorprendió para bien. Aún poniendo barras largas de fibra de carbono, el sistema sujeta las barras a la perfección siendo éste sumamente estable y robusto. Muy recomendable.

Beste Low Profile Baseplate
The media could not be loaded. Die Smallrig Low Profile Baseplate ist absolut toll. auf einem standart 15mm Rod System ist nach oben bündig und nach unten, mit unter 1cm perfekt geeignet für jegliches Setup. Ich wollte meine Kameralinse etwas näher an den Rods haben und generell ein aufgeräumteres Setup haben für mein Schulterstativ und es hat toll geklappt.

Muy buena calidad pero no me sirvió para el setup que tenía en mi cámara. Tilta es una muy buena marca así que volvería a comprar son duda algo de esta marca

Tut was er soll und sieht mega elegant aus, letzteres war auch der eigentliche Grund die doch üppigen rund 50 Euro hinzulegen. Das Design is einfach genial und schön filigran, Qualität und Funktion wie immer top. Bemerkenswert, das doch sehr geringe Gewicht.
