Bike Rack
This bike rack is very sturdy and has solved a problem for me. My vehicle has large double doors that I need to be able to have access through frequently. The rack is heavy but directions to put together we’re very clear. Loading bike is very easy

PLEASE DO NOT BUY. You'll be as sorry as we are if you do.
This carrier is improperly designed and not safe for a bike let alone a 500lb one. We had an emergency situation and needed to retrieve a 400lb bike (well within load capacity) and it took four strong men to push it onto the ramp and "stabilize" it. The rig is neither stable nor safe and it's worth noting that you'll be stuck with the return bill which out-prices the carrier itself. Don't take the economy route like we did. Check out Black Widow's carriers. They are reliable (I have owned two) and I would have went with them again (even though they are more expensive than this heap of metal and bolts). Hope this saves someone the headache of going through the nightmare we just had. Cheers!

It's not lightweight but....
I use this on the front of my truck to carry my 100lb E bike, I find it easier to load and then strap this bike onto this rack then it is in the back of my truck but ....putting the rack on the. Front of my truck each and every time is a pain i* t** a**.

sturdy by WAY too heavy for its mission purpose. Directions on assembly suck too.
See above. This anchor took almost 10 days to arrive. It’s beyond heavy while being barely strong enough. I put a pit bike on it (Yamaha Zuma) and it was just ok.A real bike over 225 lbs would have twisted it.Would not buy again and it too 10 days to get here. Nope !!

Cheap material
Did it hold my 2014 CBR 400? Yes. so technically it works, however it feels very flimsy and I would not push it. Aside this, while using with my DR 350 dirt bike the cheapo bar meant to hold the bike upright broke. Luckily it was coming to a gentle stop so the bike rocked onto to rear tailgate and we were able to save it, but had this been going at any speed I would have lost that bike... I would not use the included bar unless you weld another member to it. Strap the bike like you would upright in the bed of a pickup. Also note it is not great for street bikes as the ramp angle will be too steep to roll the bike up without catching on underbody.
